There are quite a few items to find in Monster Hunter Wilds. Materials from monsters, scales from fish, berries from plants, seemingly endless numbers of endemic life. Just oh so many. And then there are the items unique to each region of the game, found only in certain locations and used various different means.

The Large Goldenscale Vase is one of these items. Rare and dependent on the whims of the world to even appear, you have to be lucky for it to even appear. Here’s where you can expect to find it, and just what it’s used for once you finally do get your hands on it.

How To Get Large Goldenscale Vase

The Large Goldenscale Vase is an item exclusive to the Iceshard Cliffs. It is from the same family of items as the Wyvernscale and Dragonscale Vases, though significantly rarer. While they can be acquired from the regular Ancient Relic gathering points, Large Goldescale Vases can instead only be picked up from Remarkable Relic gathering points.

These only appear during the Plenty and while a Remarkable Relic Emergence event is ongoing. This is entirely random, so your only bet is to just keep waiting in your tent in the Iceshard Cliffs until it finally does appear, making sure to set the weather to Plenty each time. The game will typically notify you once the event is active, but make sure to check the Environment Overview tab of the map to make sure.

You can also check from here if the event is upcoming within the next hour. If not, simply rest until it is active or close to occurring.

Once the event is finally active, Remarkable Relics will appear as gathering points on your map. You can head to the filters on your map here and set it so only Gathering Points appear, and scroll right to the Remarkable Relic. You can also find their location by selecting the Remarkable Relic Emergence event on the map.

Uses For Large Goldenscale Vase

Once you’ve found some Large Goldenscale Vases, you can put them to use back in Suja. Head over to Sekka and you can do some Item Trading with them with your newly-acquired rarity. She offers a variety of rare items, from the elusive Scarred Scale to monster materials from the likes of Jin Dahaad.

There is no other use for Large Goldenscale Vases beyond selling them, though the items on offer for it are genuinely quite worth it. Just make sure to activate a Gathering Boost in the Iceshard Cliffs first to make sure you get double whatever you’re trading for. No point in letting all your hard work go to waste.
