Zoro Vs Mihawk Round 1 Happened On Baratie
- Zoro Challenged Mihawk
- Mihawk Wiped The Floor With Zoro
Zoro Vs Mihawk is one of the exciting battles that fans have witnessed in early One Piece. This clash happened around the Baratie arc, and Oda had been building up to it for quite a while. Luck was most certainly on Zoro’s side when Mihawk chased down Don Krieg all the way to the East Blue and decided to cut down his flagship, the Dreadnaught Sabre at the Baratie. It was there that Zoro realized the man in front of him was none other than the famed swordsman, Hawkeye Mihawk. Knowing himself to be the strongest swordsman in the East Blue, Zoro went on to challenge Mihawk right there and then, and it most certainly didn’t result in a fun battle for him. For the most part, Zoro was completely outclassed in this fight and made to see that the world was far bigger than the East Blue and that he still had ways to go.

This battle was an utter humiliation for Zoro as he couldn’t even land a single blow on Mihawk, and more than that, was beaten with a pocket knife. That said, Zoro’s grit and determination earned him his survival and the respect of Dracule Mihawk, who challenged him to get to the top of swordsmanship, and surpass him one day. Since then, Zoro has been training incredibly hard, facing one adversity after another.

When he came to Sabaody Archipelago, Zoro was far stronger than before and known to be a monster in combat. Zoro has only gotten stronger since he’s tapped into powers such as Conqueror’s Haki on top of everything. Right now, Zoro is a force to be reckoned with and it is only a matter of time before he eventually outclasses Mihawk as well.
Zoro Vs Mihawk Round 2 Will Happen On The Pirate Island
A Confrontation On The Pirate Island Is Brewing
Zoro Vs Mihawk Round 2 is edging closer with each passing arc and fans know that it’ll be absolutely majestic. This battle is going to deliver incredible action once it happens and it most certainly will happen soon enough. For fans who are wondering when this clash will take place, the answer might already have been provided by Oda, but, of course, not clearly. There are hints all across the story that point to what Oda intends to do next, and when looking at the Final Saga, the island where Zoro Vs Mihawk will take place has already been revealed.

When one speaks of Zoro Vs Mihawk, their respective crews come to mind as well. This is simply because they’re not going to come face to face if their respective crews don’t come face to face. Mihawk used to be a lone pirate at one point, but now, that’s not the case anymore. Whatever Mihawk does must come through the Cross Guild and that in itself means that for Mihawk to face Zoro, the Cross Guild must come into action against the Straw Hat Pirates.
As such, the key to analyzing Mihawk Vs Zoro lies in analyzing the actions of the Cross Guild, which shouldn’t be too hard. As is clear in the story, the Cross Guild have challenged the Navy by putting bounties on their heads. Although this threat might’ve been small at one point, it is now massive, as one Vice Admiral, T-Bone, already seems to have fallen. The World Government and the Marines cannot ignore the Cross Guild anymore, which means a battle against them should be underway soon. But, the Cross Guild aren’t the only ones that gave a threat from the Navy.
It must be remembered that the Blackbeard Pirates are trying to make a trade deal with the World Government. Teach wants to trade Garp for an official country status for the Pirate Island, and this is an outrageous move. It seems as if Teach wants to do public negotiations with the World Government, which will not bode well for them. If they agree to Blackbeard’s demands, they would be seen as weak, and bending to the power of a pirate. If they refuse, then the symbol of the Marines, that is, Garp the Hero, will most certainly die. Things would be even worse for the World Government if Blackbeard announces a public execution of the Marine Hero. The Marines are a symbol and that would deal a huge blow to them. They absolutely cannot let either happen, which means that they will most likely have to go to war with Blackbeard. Now, if Blackbeard and Buggy both face the same threat at the same time, what is the best thing to do? To form an alliance.
This alliance would see them cooperate on the mission to destroy the Navy, establish the Pirate Island as a base for pirates strong enough to oppose the influence of the World Government, and most importantly, to execute Garp.
As for the Straw Hat Pirates, they really don’t need a big reason to be present during this war. If Luffy’s grandfather is going to be involved in this war as a target of Blackbeard, he will most definitely show up. Luffy will never abandon his family and will rush to his aid, even if he’s a Marine. This means Mihawk will stand in Zoro’s way, and the only way through will be an all-out clash.
