Shrouded Fable introduced plenty of new Poison and Dark-loving cards to the Pokemon TCG.

As the set’s name suggests, this set is filled with tons of Stellar Pokemon, special crystalline Pokemon from the Area Zero Underdepths of the Paldea region, deep within the Great Crater of Paldea. These Pokemon, with fancy rainbow crowns, are all over the place in Stellar Crown, making some great cards to collect and play with.

Updated by Ryan Hay on March 18, 2025 – It’s been a few months since Stellar Crown was released so it’s time to go back and see how some of our favorite cards from the set have held up in terms of value, and which others have risen to the top. Many of the most valuable cards remain on top, while a few newcomers have joined the higher-priced cards from the set. If you’ve opened any of these cards since release you might want to consider adding them to a binder or double sleeve them to keep them safe.

Zeraora – 151/142

Illustration Rare – $11.43

The Pokemon TCG card Zeraora by Kazumasa Yasukuni.

There is a lot to love with this Illustration Rare Zeraora. From the stunning colors to the feeling of speed in the artwork Illustrator Kazumasa Yasukuni pulls out all the stops in this amazing card.

Zeraora might not be doing a whole lot for you in a deck, its Combat Thunder attack is solid but only really deals around 120 damage a go, but if you’re looking to show off a bit or have a collection of amazing artwork you’ve been looking to add to, this card will slot right in.

Bravery Charm

Hyper Rare – $11.71

The Pokemon TCG card Bravery Charm by Toyste Beach.

Hyper Rare cards almost always go for a fair amount, with some a bit more accessible than others and that is exactly where you find Bravery Charm. This Pokemon Tool features the all gold color scheme that Hyper Rare cards sport, helping this normally overlooked card stand out from the crowd.

Bravery Charm gives your attached Pokemon a boost of 50 HP, but only so long as that Pokemon is a Basic one. That gives you just enough HP to tank through an attack or two, letting you slap back with an attack of your own.

11

Milcery – 152/142

Illustration Rare – $12.72

The Pokemon TCG card Milcery by Dsuke.

Area Zero Underdepths – 174/142

Hyper Rare – $16.27

Image of the Pokemon TCG card

If you’re running a Terapagos ex deck you’re going to want to be expanding your bench a bit to really get that Unified Beatdown attack up there, and that is where Area Zero Underdepths comes in.

If you have a Tera Pokemon in play you can expand your Bench up to 8 Pokemon with Area Zero Underdepths out. This Stadium can bump Terapagos ex all the way up to dealing 240 damage instead of the base 150, making it capable of taking down most competitive Pokemon in just one blow. If Area Zero Underdepths gets replaced or removed from play you’ll have to shrink your Bench back down to just five Pokemon, so play carefully.

9

Terapagos ex – 173/142

Hyper Rare – $16.30

Image of the Pokemon TCG card Terapagos ex Hyper Rare.

Hyper rare cards are always a delight to open in packs. Something about the pure gold background and the stark contrast of the Pokemon’s art makes it so rewarding to open. With Terapagos ex in particular busting out of this card with all the many types of color on it.

Terapagos ex is a fascinating card too, with two very strong attacks. Unified Beatdown is so strong that you can’t use it on your first turn if you’re going second, dealing 30 damage for each of your Benched Pokemon for just two Colorless Energy. That’s a solid 150 damage off a normal Bench, which is pretty good against plenty of Pokemon.

8

Briar – 171/142

Special Illustration Rare – $21.69

Briar, the Terastal researcher joins Stellar Crown with a Supporter card that helps you win a game even faster thanks to its effect. Playing Briar comes with a few stipulations. You can only use it if your opponent has exactly two prize cards left, but in exchange, you can take one more Prize card when you knock out your opponent’s Active Pokemon, so long as a Tera Pokemon knocked them out.

Cards that boost the number of prizes you take can be exceptionally good in a game, and having a Supporter card that can give any Tera Pokemon you have that effect is exceptionally good.

7

Galvantula ex – 168/142

Special Illustration Rare – $25.46

Putting punishing restrictions on your opponent is an incredibly powerful move to whip out on your opponent, and Galvantula ex is a fantastic way to do that. Galvantula ex has two attacks, the Fulgurite one deals 180 damage, a solid blow to many Pokemon, but more importantly, it prevents your opponent from playing any Item cards from their hand on their next turn.

Just look at this Illustration Rare Bulbasaur, it is quite possibly the cutest iteration of the Seed Pokemon ever. The little Grass Type Starter is vibing on the window sill, basking in the sunlight while two Pidgys come and visit through the open window.

This particular card has been on English players radar for a while, since it released back in 2023’s Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex, as it was a Japanese only release. Bulbasaur doesn’t come alone either, as Squirle joins them as well, though at a higher price.

Taking the top spot by a wide margin, the Terapagos ex Special Illustration Rare is the most valuable card you can open from the set. 5ban Graphics absolutely crushed it with this artwork, depicting Terapagos in its Stellar Form among a sea of mosaics.

Around the Colorless Pokemon float gems with each of the different types around them. Terapagos ex also is a powerhouse as well as looking good, with the Crown Opal attack dealing 180 damage while also preventing any damage done to it from non-Colorless Basic Pokemon.
