In the most recent Boruto chapter, that is, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 20, fans got to see a ton of exciting developments in the story, the most fascinating of which was the awakening of Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan. Although only a small glimpse of its powers has been given to the fans so far, it is already looking like the most Overpowered Mangekyo Sharingan in a very long time. So far, Ikemoto has only revealed bits about this ability in the Boruto manga, and fans know for a fact that the more light is shed on it, the more impressive it’ll become.

When it comes to the Naruto world, fans have seen many powerful Mangekyo Sharingan over the years. Although they’re all powerful, not all of them give the same level of power to the user. Some Mangekyo Sharingan abilities are far stronger than others and that’s what makes them truly special. For instance, Shin’s Mangekyo Sharingan, which allowed him to telekinetically control weapons he marked with his seal, wasn’t all that impressive. On the flip side, Obito’s Mangekyo Sharingan was extremely impressive.
How much can you see with that Sharingan of yours? — Itachi Uchiha
This eye allowed him access to the dimension of Kamui, and with each eye, he could use a different version of the transportation Ninjutsu. With one eye, he could use the short-ranged version of the ability, which is mostly cast on himself and anyone in contact with him. This also made it feel like he was intangible. The long-range version, which was largely utilized by Kakashi Hatake, worked on objects that were farther away and they were immediately warped to the dimension of Kamui. Together, this Sharingan was quite easily a monstrous power that few could counter in the story.
Itachi Uchiha also had a very powerful Mangekyo Sharingan. With one eye, he could cast the undying black flames of Amaterasu. With the other eye, he could cast a powerful Genjutsu called Tsukuyomi, where he could control space and time itself. Shisui’s Mangekyo Sharingan allowed him to cast Kotoamatsukami, a very powerful Genjutsu. Sasuke’s ability was similar to Itachi’s in that he could produce black flames and apply shape transformation to them, while Madara Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan abilities still remain unknown to this day. Undoubtedly, the Naruto series has given fans some very overpowered Mangekyo Sharingan over the years and it goes without saying that now, with the addition of Sarada Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan, things are going to get all the more exciting in the story.

Sarada Finally Awakened Her Mangekyo Sharingan Vs Ryu
It goes without saying that fans expected Sarada Uchiha to gain the Mangekyo Sharingan right from the get-go. At the end of the first part of the Naruto series, fans saw Sarada Uchiha gaining a new ability which stemmed as a result of the shock she experienced following the news of the death of Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage, and the upcoming death of Boruto Uzumaki. Sarada’s trauma was such that she awakened her Mangekyo Sharingan, and the impact of the moment was such that fans saw Sasuke break through Omnipotence because of it. Unfortunately, the timeskip happened immediately after and Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan wasn’t focused on all that much.

Even after Sarada returned from the timeskip, fans didn’t get to see her use the ability right off the bat. She fought Hidari in combat in Konoha and even sustained some heavy injuries. Yet, she didn’t use the Mangekyo Sharingan at all, which was rather surprising. Finally, Sarada Uchiha tapped into the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan when she went to the Land of Wind, where she and her team faced off against Ryu, one of the Shinju.

Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan has been reawakened. She finally gets her moment to shine in Boruto.
Right now, Sarada is deeply involved in this battle, and the goal here is to beat the Shinju for good. For the very first time since the first Awakening of her eye, Sarada Uchiha has tapped into it once again. This time around, however, Sarada has done it willingly, meaning she has full control over the eye, and fans know for a fact that she’s going to defeat Ryu from here onwards, which is extremely exciting for the story.

Sarada Can Use Black Holes With Her Mangekyo Sharingan
Sarada Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan Is extremely overpowered, even though fans only saw a glimpse of it so far. The eye is capable of producing tears in the fabric of space-time and it seems that it can produce black holes themselves. These black holes are incredibly powerful and they hold the power to drag just about everything in. In the chapter itself, Sarada Uchiha couldn’t move after being controlled by the Iron Sand of Ryu’s Kekkei Genkai. Yet, she was able to break free from his control using the Mangekyo Sharingan. Her Mangekyo Sharingan allows her to create what seems to be a black hole, and they possess the power to suck anything in. In fact, the true power of Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan lies in infinite gravity, as that’s what black holes are. With the immense and unlimited pressure of gravity at her disposal, Sarada Uchiha can crush anyone standing in her way.
The fact is that fans have only seen a small glimpse of Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan. She might very well have two abilities, just like the vast majority of the Mangekyo Sharingan users do. In that case, her other ability could elevate her Mangekyo Sharingan even further. It could be a short and long-ranged Black Hole ability, just as Obito could do with his Kamui, only in this case, the ability is even more terrifying.
At the same time, it must be remembered that Sarada Uchiha could potentially be able to use her powers in conjunction with the new Susanoo. Kakashi could manifest powers like Kamui Shuriken with his Susanoo and pass on the Mangekyo Sharingan ability to the Susanoo itself. If Sarada can do something similar, then, there is absolutely no doubt that she’ll automatically be one of the strongest characters in Naruto history.
