We’re on day two of TheGamer’s Boss Week, in which we reveal a new foe from The First Berserker: Khazan every day in the week before launch.
Yesterday, we brought you Blade Phantom, the “warden of the Underworld”, who specialises in adapting to whatever an opponent throws at him. Today, we have a brand new boss for you, although they certainly look no less menacing.
Here’s Your First Look At Volbaino, A New Boss In The First Berserker: Khazan
The trailer is narrated by Ben Starr, who voiced the titular character, Khazan, in the game. He gives us an overview of Volbaino, but most importantly, we get a look at what we can expect when we fight him in-game.
As well as the video, the folks over at developer Neople have given us a description of Volbaino.
There was once a time when Volbaino was the honored guardian of the village of Phraugh—but when the village was invaded by dragonkin, he was taken, and he succumbed to the endless violence and torture that followed. In the end, the once-gentle Volbaino was transformed into a monster bent on destroying all that lay before him
The First Berserker: Khazan is described as a “hardcore” action RPG, so it makes sense that the boss battles are front and centre as we inch closer to launch. In this respect, Soulslike fans will likely feel right at home, as well as anyone after a challenge.
The First Berserker: Khazan launched on March 27, so we’re just a little over a week away from being able to (try) and take on these bosses ourselves. In the meantime, we still have five more bosses to reveal throughout the week, so come back same time tomorrow for another exclusive boss trailer.
