Clash Royale’s Champion Triple Draft Event, Explained
First things first, Champion Triple Draft is an upgraded version of the regular Draft event. While it’s similar in letting you choose troops from a pre-made deck, the key difference is that both you and your opponent get three card options for each selection. Once you pick a card, the other two won’t be passed to your opponent; they’ll just be discarded.
Another unique thing about Champion Triple Draft is that you get to choose cards for all eight slots. That’s different from Hunter Evolution Draft and Lumberjack Evolution Draft, where you only pick cards for four slots in your deck. Normally, Champion cards aren’t included in Triple Draft mode, but this event focuses on these high-ranked troops, letting you add one Champion card to your deck.
To join this event, you’ll need to set up your Battle Deck first. Just head to the Collections tab, put your deck together, and you’re good to go. After that, jump into Events, tap on Champion Triple Draft, and start the battle.
Tips To Win The Clash Royale’s Champion Triple Draft Event
- In Champion Triple Draft, you can see your opponent’s card options, so try to build a deck that counters them. For example, if they have strong tank options (which they would likely choose), pick a building card to lure them in or a spell card to deal damage on their way. Then, use defensive cards to shut them down.
- Like all events, your strategy matters a lot here. If you want to take the lead, start with spell cards to chip away at their towers or drop a heavy tank. You can also play defensively and wait for them to attack first before summoning your troops.
- Make sure your deck is well-balanced (i.e., avoid stacking too many high-cost troops). Low-cost cards like Suspicious Bush, Goblins, Skeleton Army, Fisherman, and Royal Ghost can do serious damage before your expensive troops even get deployed.
- Some of the best-performing cards for this event include Royal Recruits, Valkyrie, Fisherman, Executioner, Goblin Drill, Goblin Barrel, Tesla, P.E.K.K.A., Magic Archer, Giant Skeleton, Suspicious Bush, Skeleton King, Monk, and Mighty Miner.
Winning matches will earn you seasonal tokens, which you can trade for rewards in the event shop. Remember, the Champion Triple Draft event is only here until March 24, so make the most of it while you can.
