This is where trading comes into play, allowing you to exchange valuable loot with other players to optimize your build and become even stronger. Fortunately, the trading system in Rune Slayer is simple and accessible to everyone, regardless of whether you are a seasoned player or just starting out, and we will explain how it works.
Unfortunately, at the moment of writing this guide, trading is temporarily unavailable due to a bug that allows players to scam each other.
How To Send A Trade Request
Trading in Rune Slayer can be incredibly useful, whether you’re looking for a rare rune to complete your build or just want to swap some extra loot for something better. Both new and experienced players can benefit from trading, and fortunately, the process is straightforward and easy to understand.
Here’s how you can send a trade request in just a few simple steps:
- While on the game server, look in the top right corner of the screen. Here you will find a list of players. Among them, select the player you want to exchange with and click on his nickname with the left mouse button.
- After doing so, a small menu with two options will appear before you: “Invite to Party” and “Send Trade.”
- Click on “Send Trade” and your trade request will be sent to the selected player.
If the other player accepts your request, a trade menu will open on your screen. This menu can be visually divided into two parts:

After both players place their items and make sure that the exchange is fair, both need to click the Accept button to complete the exchange. After the exchange is complete, the items will be instantly transferred to your inventory.
You can find players to trade with directly in the game, but another great option is the official Rune Slayer Discord server.
There’s even a dedicated trading section called “Trade”, where players post offers, requests, and negotiate deals. Whether you’re looking for rare ores, powerful loot, or unique runes, this is the perfect place to connect with other traders and find exactly what you need.
