Currently, Pressure is participating in the massive The Hunt: Mega Edition event, where you must complete various challenges in different games to collect Tokens. These tokens can then be used to unlock exclusive Roblox avatar items. To get them, you’ll need to complete a difficult and intense level, making it one of the more challenging tasks in The Hunt.
How To Find The Event Beacon
To start the event challenge, press ‘Yes’ when prompted upon entering Pressure. If you close the interface, you can still access the beacon by heading straight through the lobby, crossing the bridges, and looking for the yellow-glowing beacon marked with a 0/1–0/2 player capacity.
Special Game Mode
In this special event mode, you must navigate from Door 40 back to Door 1 while surviving against three unique entities. Along the way, you will need to find access codes to unlock doors and avoid getting caught by the hostile creatures lurking in the facility.
Entities In The Event Challenge
This special game mode features three terrifying entities that will make it difficult to reach the end of the facility. Each one has its own mechanics, so understanding how to counter them is crucial for survival.
The Crooked
Appearance. |
A skeletal humanoid with distorted eyes, dressed in a military uniform, and possessing elongated hands. |
Mechanic. |
The Crooked only moves when you are not looking at it. This makes navigation more difficult, as you must balance watching your surroundings while ensuring the creature does not get close enough to attack. |
Damage Output. |
Deals 25 to 50 damage per hit. |
Warning Sign. |
Emits sounds when it appears through a trap door or when it hides in a locker. |
Keep your eyes on The Crooked at all times while navigating the rooms. Losing sight of it for too long increases your risk of being attacked.
Pipsqueak
Appearance |
A deep-sea fish-like creature that stalks players |
Mechanic |
The only way to avoid Pipsqueak is by hiding inside a locker before it reaches you. |
Damage Output |
Immediate death |
Warning Sign |
It emits a deep, loud sound when approaching |
Use The Crooked as a warning system. When The Crooked suddenly hides inside a locker, that means Pipsqueak is coming. As soon as you see this happening, find a locker and hide immediately to avoid losing all your progress.
Rebarb
Appearance. |
A creature made of scrap metal and concrete, with a large, glowing eye at the top. |
Mechanic. |
Rebarb will run after you quickly and attack him unless you stun him with the flash beacon. |
Damage Output. |
Deals 20 damage per hit. |
Warning Sign. |
When it appears, a high-pitched screech will be heard from where it will come running from. |
When Rebarb is about to attack, you will hear a high-pitched noise as a warning. Quickly equip your Flash Beacon and use it to stun Rebarb and force it to retreat. Be careful. If you activate the Flash Beacon too early, it may not stun Rebarb, leaving you vulnerable due to its cooldown.
How To Beat The Event Challenge
Successfully completing The Hunt: Mega Edition challenge in Pressure requires a solid understanding of entity mechanics and smart room navigation. Here are some essential survival tips.
Use Early Rooms To Prepare
At the start of the challenge, search for healing items before the entities appear. Look for BL1 (Neloprophine), a bright yellow syringe that restores 25 health points. You can find this at the beginning and throughout your run.
Entities will not start appearing until the second room of the game. Take the opportunity to look for these syringes. During the game, do not lose sight of the characteristic yellowish glow of these to be able to visualize them easily.
Mastering The Crooked’s Behavior
The Crooked will stalk you throughout the run. If you lose sight of it for too long, it disappears and respawns closer via a trapdoor in the ceiling. Be careful to avoid obstacles and gaps while keeping him in check.
The doors will only open when you look at them, so you can’t stare at The Crooked all the time. You need to gain distance from him to be able to see properly where you are going. In one or two rooms you will find several holes and boards to cross through, which makes it practically impossible if you don’t look behind you.
If you ever need to check your surroundings, use the Flash Beacon to temporarily immobilize The Crooked, giving you a moment to adjust, one second of stun.
Using The Crooked To Predict Pipsqueak
The Crooked will hide inside a locker whenever Pipsqueak is approaching. If you see The Crooked hiding, or you hear the metallic sound of the locker, that’s your cue to immediately find a locker for yourself and hide before Pipsqueak attacks.
The Crooked will not attack you when he heads for the locker. The best thing to do is to find one quickly for yourself.
Reacting Fast To Rebarb
When Rebarb spawns, you’ll hear a distinct high-pitched sound. Equip the Flash Beacon and fire it at the right moment to stun Rebarb before it attacks. Be precise—using it too early will trigger a cooldown of two–three seconds, leaving you vulnerable.
Unlocking Doors With Codes
Some rooms will be locked behind codes, making the challenge harder. Search for the code while keeping The Crooked within your field of vision to avoid getting attacked. Once you have the code and enter it, The Crooked will not attack you until you cross the door’s threshold. However, if you leave without opening the door, it will resume chasing you.
