Bobbleheads provide a boost to a players SPECIAL stats in Fallout 76, and these Bobbleheads are the best ones to look for.
When placed on a display unit, the number on the back of each Bobblehead will glow. For those hoping to see such a sight, here’s how to get Glowing Bobbleheads in Fallout 76 and what purpose they serve.
How To Get Glowing Bobbleheads In Fallout 76
Getting Glowing Bobbleheads is similar to getting regular ones. However, the chances of getting a Glowing Bobblehead when compared to its standard counterpart are significantly lower. The main ways of obtaining Bobbleheads are outlined below:
- Inside Mystery Bobblehead Boxes
- Purchase Them From Other Players
- Find Them At Bobblehead Spawn Points
- Inside Large Holiday Gift Boxes
For the best chance of getting a Glowing Bobblehead, you should open up Mystery Bobblehead Boxes. Each time you open a box, there’s roughly a 10% chance that you’ll receive a Glowing Bobblehead. These boxes can be unlocked via the season rewards menu. However, you’ll need to reach rank 150 before you’ll be able to repeatedly purchase Mystery Bobblehead Boxes.
Alternatively, you can buy Mystery Bobblehead Boxes from Giuseppe inside the Whitespring Refuge for 20 Stamps each. However, you can only purchase a maximum of 6 boxes per day. The other way of getting Mystery Bobblehead Boxes is by completing Raids. While they are difficult, Raids offer some of the best and rarest rewards in Fallout 76. This includes the occasional Mystery Bobblehead Box.
As for the other methods, aside from trading with another player, there is between a 0.5% and a 1% chance of either finding a Glowing Bobblehead at a Bobblehead spawn point or by opening Large Holiday Gift Boxes.
What Do Glowing Bobbleheads In Fallout 76 Do?
Unfortunately, these new Bobbleheads don’t have any additional benefits when compared to standard Bobbleheads. Glowing Leader Bobbleheads will grant you the same 5% XP boost that a regular Bobblehead gives. The same applies to all the other Bobbleheads and their benefits.
The change is solely cosmetic. That said, there are lots of avid collectors out there who are hoping to get a full set of these Bobbleheads so that they can display them at their CAMPs. Since these Glowing Bobbleheads are very new, some players may be willing to trade quite a lot in order to complete the full set. As time goes on, Glowing Bobbleheads will likely become less valuable. As such, any players who want to trade for some of the new Bobbleheads should consider waiting for the hype to settle down.
