The latest season of Fortnite has had a major update in recent days. Enabling a huge batch of brand-new items, but to get them you’ll need to head to the Fortnite Exotic locations. That aren’t unlocked in the same way as previous seasons. In fact, they’re now concentrated in just a handful of spots. Meaning you can get an insane loadout off spawn if you prepare properly.
The Fortnite Exotic locations are part of the major new update to Fortnite. Along with the Outlaw Keycard, they’ve completely reworked the balance of power in the season. Not exactly in a balanced way either. Some of the exotics are crazy unpowered, they’ll completely change the way the game is played. So, players will need to wok unlocking the Exotics into their game plans for the season. Where are the Fortnite Exotic Locations and how do they work?

Where are the Fortnite Exotic Locations?
With the most recent Fortnite patch notes, a new mechanic has been introduced. Players now have an Outlaw Keycard, which grants access to a second back room of the Black Market. This is where you’ll find most of the best loot. Just like the Mythics in this season, the Exotics are located in the Market and cost a Dill Bit each. Players can find these exotics in these spots over the next few games.

These aren’t random spawn points. You’ll find the same ones in each game. Now, they do cost a Dill Bit. However, finish up the Outlaw quests and you’ll get a free Dill Bit from the chest right next to the containers. It sets you up pretty cleanly to get a weapon from the Fortnite Exotic locations every game. Although, there are ways to get more.

The Fortnite Exotic Locations this season are the key to some of the best loot. How can collect a good number of them though?
The best start is the Outlaw Keycard quests, letting you grab one off spawn. However, beyond that you’ll need more Dill Bits. The vaults in the POIs across the map are still there, with their cache of 2 Dill Bits. If you’re quick enough this can mean three Fortnite exotic weapons each game.
There’s also the train which provides both the Sentinel Mythic Pump and 2 Dill Bits. It can also be stopped close to a Black Market if you want to try and minimize your rotation time.

The Fortnite exotic locations this season are clearly key to getting the best loot and victory. Whenever seasons take this swing towards balancing around who gets to a spot at first, it can be a bit all or nothing to actually play. Try to land right and you could end up with an overpowered loadout of the best Fortnite weapons though.
