After completing Speak of the Devil in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you can explore the Kuttenberg region freely. That is when you can trigger Lost Honour, a side quest. A random encounter that can take place at any time triggers this mission while fast-traveling from Horschan to Miskowitz.

Here is how to complete the Kuttenberg Tournament quest, including all of its disciplines, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Upon the encounter, Jezhek will call you, and soon, the Lost Honour quest will start. You will have to bring back his armor and horse one way or another, but it isn’t as easy as it may sound. Here, we will guide you on how to get Jezhek’s armor and horse from Zarvish of Garbow.

How To Start Lost Honour Quest

While it is a random encounter, you can trigger it by fast traveling from Horschan to Miskowitz. If you can’t trigger it, fast-travel back from Miskowitz to Horschan. An in-game prompt will appear, so make sure to select the option asking you to explore the place.

After a moment, Jezhek will call and try to ambush you. You can pass one of the skill checks to get him to back off, or you can simply fight him. Upon striking him a few times, he would surrender. Then, talk to him and agree to help.

Where To Find Zavish Of Garbow

Zavish's tent location on the map in KCD2.

Searching and talking to Zavish is an optional objective. This is because you can simply explore the camp and steal Jezhek’s armor and horse during the night. However, if you do it this way, the trophy, Master of Masters, will become void.

Zavish can be found on the west side of the quest marker, inside the green tent. Go inside and talk to him. If the tent is considered a private area, wait for him to come out and then talk to him (for us, it wasn’t a private area).

You can’t buy the armor and horse from him; he won’t accept your challenge if you fail the skill checks. However, if you succeed with any of the two skill checks, he will agree to a duel. The warfare skill has a very hard difficulty check while domination has a medium, so choose the latter.

How To Win All Three Duels

After succeeding with the skill check, you will have to prepare for three duels. Make sure you have good armor and weapons, as Zavish won’t go down easily. The first fight will be using a polearm, but as he blocks a lot, yours will break down way too early.

So, ensure you have a few spare polearms before starting the fight. The first duel will be the hardest, especially if you haven’t used polearms more often.

Before the fight, try to level up your polearm skills and unlock some perks.

Once you are geared up, start the fight by paying 300 Groschen. Make sure you are wearing good armor, and your head protection should be decent, too, preferably one with a helm that can be closed.

After the first duel is over, don’t worry about healing. The Bathwench Dorothy will heal your wounds, so talk to her.

If the second and third duels aren’t starting, take a few steps ahead and take out your weapon.

After that, get ready for the next duel. This time, select a single-handed weapon along with a shield. A short sword would be a better option, as it will let you perform some master strikes, too. Zavish blocks a lot, so you will have to rely on the master strikes.

Once you finish the second duel, ask the bathwench to heal your wounds again. After that, select the best longsword you have and enter the arena. While it will be a hard battle, it won’t be as annoying as the polearm one. Now, Zavish can also perform a master strike, so do not give him a chance to do so.

Don’t just blindly attack; wait for an opportunity and strike him, preferably with a master strike. If you have been in a lot of combat with swords, then you are likely to defeat Zavish with just a single master strike. If you defeat him in all three duels, you will unlock the Masters of Masters achievement.

How To Get Jezhek’s Armor And Horse

After defeating Zavish, talk to him, and he will give you the key to his chest. Go back to his tent and open the chest on the left. Ignore the icons on the map; just take out all of Jezhek’s armor and then pick up his Brigandine from the right side. The chest also contains some Groschen, so make sure to get that, too.

After that, follow the coordinates on your map to find Jezhek’s horse. Mount the horse and head toward Jezhek. When you reach the location, talk to him. You can lie to him if you want to keep the armor for yourself, but if you give him his items, he will reward you with a Lord of Holohlavy heater shield, spurs, and 500 Groschen.
