Fortnite OG is a flashback to older days of Fortnite, but that doesn’t mean you don’t get new content. Today, we’ve seen Fortnite OG Crossbow added to the game. A fun item that was used in a few different ways over the earlier seasons of Fortnite. While we’re in the midst of an older season, these little loot pool changes are keeping things interesting for OG. Great if you’re tiring of the non-stop broken items in normal Battle Royale right now.
The Crossbow isn’t a notorious weapon like the Zapotron we saw earlier in the season. However, there will be some players keen on seeing it return. The crossbow is a projectile item but notably one that doesn’t break builds. It was used in a particularly fun way in LTMs in older seasons. Including one which only featured crossbows, leading players to skybase with complete freedom from being shot out.

Fortnite OG Crossbow Added
The latest addition to Fortnite OG is the Crossbow. It’s not part of a major Fortnite update. The current OG season isn’t ending for a little while still. However, these little changes keep things in line with how the original season developed. While it isn’t the same length, this does mean the season roughly plays like the original, with all the changes sped up to match the new timetable.
The Fortnite OG Crossbow is an older weapon and one we don’t see very often in the game anymore. Mainly, because it’s a bit weaker. It’s a weapon which fires a wood projectile. It can’t break builds but it can do a lot of damage if it hits properly. A bit touchy. A little difficult to aim properly. However, it does get kills in a stylish way if you land your shots.
The crossbow will be around for a while to come. So, players will have plenty of time to get used to its eccentricities and try to master it before we move on to the next season.
