Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has unveiled a new teaser for the upcoming Zombies map, confirming its release with Season 3. This teaser follows a series of images shared by the development team, offering a glimpse of what Zombies players can expect in the next major update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Black Ops 6 has introduced four brand-new Zombies maps so far providing fans with a diverse range of locations to battle zombies. While some of these maps were released through mid-season updates, the latest map, The Tomb, was added at the launch of Season 2. This marks a back-to-back addition to the game’s popular undead mode, with another new release coming in Black Ops 6‘s Season 3 update.

Developer Treyarch Studios shares a teaser for the next Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies map, revealing the next location for the round-based mode.

In a recent post on its official Twitter account, Treyarch Studios shared a blurred-background image that revealed the name of the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies map, Shattered Veil, prominently in the foreground. The post also included the caption “Season 3,” confirming that the new map will be introduced with the third major update for Black Ops 6. This update marks yet another exciting event for fans of the series’ iconic round-based survival mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Shattered Veil Zombies Map Release Date

The release of Shattered Veil in Season 3, set for April 3, will mark the fifth Zombies map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 since its launch in October 2024, following the release of The Tomb just one season earlier. Treyarch shared the first Zombies teaser for Shattered Veil on March 11, showcasing the map’s setting, Edward Richter’s Liberty Falls mansion. This was followed by a series of teaser images revealing key details about the map’s connection to the Zombies lore. The Dark Aether is set to play a significant role, particularly concerning the highly anticipated Black Ops 6 Zombies Easter eggs.

All of this supports various Black Ops 6 Zombies insider rumors and confirmations from the Treyarch team about upcoming content for the new map. As has been the case with previous map releases in Zombies, Shattered Veil will reportedly introduce new content, including Perk-a-Colas like Double Tap, Mule Kick, and Tombstone, as well as new additions like the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod and Frost Blast Field Upgrade. Additionally, the mansion-based map is expected to bring back the fan-favorite Wunderwaffe DG-2 as a Wonder Weapon, further expanding the already extensive list of special weapons in the undead mode. As for enemies, Treyarch has confirmed that Black Ops 6‘s Amalgams and Abominations won’t be present, hinting at the possibility of new Elite enemies.
