There are plenty of consumable items in Monster Hunter Wilds, but among all of them, healing items are the ones that players are most likely to use often. Even the best hunters get hit, and when the going gets tough, a Healing Potion infused with Honey is sure to get anyone back on their feet.
Honey is used in a number of important recovery items, including the Catalysts needed for Max Potions, and it’s very likely that players will run out of this first before any other resource (barring ammunition). For those whose Honey stocks are running low, here’s a quick guide on where to get the most Honey in as short a time as possible.

Where to Get Honey Fast in Monster Hunter Wilds
One of the best places to get Honey is right in the Windward Plains. The Area 8: Southeast and Area 13: Oasis Campsite pop-up camps have a whole bunch of Honey gathering points for players to nab. Place a camp at each site, then grab all the beehives near them. After that, fast travel to a different region, then come back. This will instantly reset the Honey nodes.
You can pay the Pop-Up Meowster cat in the Windward Plains Base Camp to instantly repair any destroyed pop-up camps anywhere.
When choosing a place to go to, the Area 6: Southeast pop-up camp in the Ruins of Wyveria is the best place to visit. This site is hidden in a small grove that monsters can’t reach. There’s one beehive right by the entrace to the campsite, and several more are just outside.
You can get dozens of Honey per trip by rotating between these three campsites. However, there’s a much better way to get Honey, and it involves almost zero effort on the player’s part.
AFK Honey Farm
The absolute best way to get Honey is to use the Material Retrieval mechanic in MH Wilds, which becomes available once players complete side quests from certain NPCs during or after Act 4 of the story. Up to five NPCs will gather materials for you in the background once you finish all the side quests, and all of them can gather Honey if you so desire.
If you absolutely want to fill your Item Box with Honey, return to any base camp and use the Rest function to skip time. Every time you do, the Material Retrieval NPCs will have two additional slots’ worth of items for you to claim. Keep in mind that resting costs 300 Guild Points, and each NPC can only carry 16 slots’ worth of items max.
