What are the best Assassin’s Creed Shadows Amulets and Trinkets? Naoe and Yasuke are going to need all the protective tags and lucky charms they can get their hands on if they want to survive their quest, and Shadows provides some incredibly handy boons.
While our best AC Shadows weapons and AC Shadows armor guides only feature Legendary-tier pieces, we have a sneaky, Epic rarity addition that we’ve had a blast using in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Below, you’ll find all of the AC Shadows Amulets and AC Shadows Trinkets worth using in the RPG. Be sure to keep our AC Shadows legendary gear locations guide open as you peruse.
The best Assassin’s Creed Shadows Amulets and Trinkets we’ve found so far are:
- Amaterasu’s Blessing
- Flight of the Ubagabi
- Otakemaru’s Battlecry
- Minogame’s Protection
- Sogenbi’s Regret
- Oni’s Fury
- Warrior’s Respite
- Scale of the Koi
Amaterasu’s Blessing
The early game must-have, both Naoe and Yasuke can access their respective versions of Amaterasu’s Blessing in Shadows’ fledgling phases. Providing a very respectable 10% damage boost per unused ability slot, it’s incredibly potent considering your lack of access to multiple active AC Shadows skills at this point.
Flight of the Ubagabi
We’ve already waxed lyrical about the Kusarigama’s potential when kitted out for a daze-focused build in some of our other guides, and Flight of the Ubagabi ensures maximum uptime for those all-important abilities.
Otakemaru’s Battlecry
Having a healthy constitution is incredibly important – you can’t take down the Shinbakufu if you’re dead, after all. If you’re struggling to stay alive, then the extra health provided by Otakemaru’s Battlecry can be a lifesaver in a pinch. Yasuke has a version of this Trinket called Kitsune’s Trickery. Both pieces can be picked up early on, making them useful alternatives to Amaterasu’s Blessing if you favor extra survivability over damage.
Minogame’s Protection
We’ve seldom found Naoe’s headgear to be particularly game-changing, but The Peasant Hat is a solid choice for adrenaline junkies. With Minogame’s Protection, you can opt to forego wearing it altogether in return for a whopping 50% damage boost. Alternatively, Minogame’s Protection is the perfect companion if you’re after the perfect all-offense, no-defense build.
Sogenbi’s Regret
Location: Chasuriyama Kofun, Chasuriyama, Tamba
While you likely won’t come across Sogenbi’s Regret until much later in the game, it’s a tidy little addition to your arsenal – especially when combined with the Yami no Kage katana. With this setup, you’ll not only deal 100% of damage deflected to your enemy, but Sogenbi’s Regret will give you a fat 24% damage boost on your next hit.
Oni’s Fury
While we use a lot of Legendary gear in our best AC Shadows builds, the game’s engraving system makes it so that you don’t have to use equipment of the highest rarity to take advantage of their unique passives. Oni’s Fury is paradoxical in that it provides bonus damage per non-Legendary piece equipped, but we’re making note of it as you can engrave its passive into lower-tier loot for big DPS.
Warrior’s Respite
Yasuke’s sniper build potential with the Teppo is absolutely wild, and Warrior’s Respite truly unlocks this playstyle. Offering up what quickly becomes a huge amount of bonus headshot damage with investment, it’s a must-use if you prefer to do your best work from afar.
Scale of the Koi
Conversely, if clubbing foes to death with maximum force is more your forte, then Scale of the Koi is the perfect accompaniment. Providing plenty of armor-piercing potential once you’ve thrown some points into the Kanabo tree, Yasuke can quickly do away with the annoying stuff and get right to the good bit.
