As players make their way through the storied history of the Samoan Dynasty in WWE 2K25, there will come a time where the game’s Showcase mode comes to an epic conclusion in the form of a Gauntlet Match. It is at this point in time that players need to decide who they consider to be the true Tribal Chief of the Bloodline, whether its a past, present, or upcoming talent in the family.
After players complete the previous matches, including the notoriously tedious Money in the Bank match with Tamina, they will have a decision to make as to who should rule the tribe. For those wondering who should be chosen as the Tribal Chief in WWE 2K25‘s Showcase Mode, this guide will provide some recommendations.

How To Enter The Tribal Gauntlet
The Tribal Gauntlet is the final match of WWE 2K25‘s Showcase mode, and gives players the freedom to decide who should be the Tribal Chief. To enter, you must first complete all previous Showcase Matches, from Yokozuna’s powerful display against Hulk Hogan, through to The Islander’s victory over the Street Profits. Once you have completed all previous challenges, the final battle will be made available.
Once the Tribal Gauntlet has been unlocked, a page with 24 of the personalities you played as throughout the Showcase will be available. It is up to you to decide which one you will control as you head into a 10-person Gauntlet Match.
Who Should You Choose For The Tribal Gauntlet?
Players who are looking to run through the gauntlet without too much trouble can opt for the most obvious choices for Tribal Chief in Roman Reigns or The Rock, both of whom have a rating of 95 or better. In saying that, the rewards for completing the Gauntlet Match do not differ according to who you pick, so it is more a matter of preference. In saying that, there are a few other recommendations, depending on which Bloodline member you feel has the greatest claim to the throne. Some suggestions are as follows:
- If you want to support the person who started the entire dynasty, then you should choose “High Chief” Peter Maivia.
- If you want to support the first person in the family to win a world championship, you should choose Yokozuna.
- If you wish to usher in a new era for the Bloodline, Jacob Fatu has the character and skillset to carry the mantle.
- To pay homage to the impactful women in the Bloodline, then Nia Jax has the potential to dominate the guantlet.
From a technical perspective, you may want to take into account the skillsets and abilities of the superstars at your disposal. You will want to absorb as little damage as possible and use as little stamina as you can to last to the end, so you may want to opt for a Striker or Technician over a Giant, as their moveset is faster and enables them to beat their opponent to the punch. Of course, for a greater challenge, you can go for one of the lower-rated wrestlers to increase the match difficulty.
