The Veilguard, Now Is The Best Time To Pick It Up

Steam‘s Spring sale is out now, and as usual, a whole lot of games are absurdly cheap. However, one of the best deals concerns a fairly new release, Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Right now, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s price on Steam is the lowest it’s been since it launched last October, as it’s been hit with a 50 percent discount. The previous games in the series are even cheaper, as they’re all 80 percent off. This means that you can pick up every single game in the series for £41.96 – less than The Veilguard cost at launch.

This is a very good deal for the entire series, since you’ll get the complete story at its lowest price yet. Or, well, as complete as it probably will ever be, since the Dragon Age series is on ice now.

While poor sales don’t always lead to big discounts, it does seem that it might be the case with The Veilguard. We already know that the game failed to meet EA’s projections, and when you compare this sale to other games released around the same time, it starts to add up. For example, Until Dawn, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Sonic X Shadow Generations are all 25 percent off. Life Is Strange: Double Exposure is a bit closer at 40 percent off, but we know that Square Enix wasn’t happy with its own sales either.

This isn’t exclusive to Dragon Age though. You can pick up Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for just £4.99, and then chuck Andromeda on top for £5.24. giving you the whole series so far for about a tenner. It will be some time before we get the next Mass Effect game, so we can certainly fit in some replays before then.
