Hello Kitty Island Adventure is filled with dozens of cooking recipes that span across many cooking stations. At the start of the game, you’ll have access to the humble oven, but eventually, you’ll get more, such as a station to make eggs or soda.

Red Bow Apple Pie
Cooking Station |
Oven (Hello Kitty Cafe) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Flour + Apple = Magma Bloom |
First up, we have Red Bow Apple Pie. This may seem a bit simple, but it’s absolutely essential if you are looking to progress your friendship with Hello Kitty herself. This pie is a three-heart dish for her, giving the most amount of friendship points.
Hello Kitty is the only character in the game with 25 levels of friendship, and there are many things locked behind the higher levels (including new island visitors). As such, making Red Bow Apple Pies and gifting them to her is necessary.

Candied Banana Coffee
Cooking Station |
Espresso Machine (Hello Kitty Cafe OR the Comedy Club) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Candlenut + Banana + Candy Cloud |
The Candied Banana Coffee is quite a versatile little drink. With four tags, it can be given to the following characters as a gift.
That’s quite a lot of people! The ingredients aren’t too hard to get your hands on, so be sure to make plenty of Candied Banana Coffee in order to give them out. Here at TheGamer, these helped us initially level up our friendship with Tophat, who has some unique interests.

Thermal Potion
Cooking Station |
Cauldron (Witch’s Hut) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Glow Berry + Magma Bloom |
A potion? On a recipe list? Technically, the Cauldron is a cooking station, and the Thermal Potion is an important recipe that will help you in a variety of situations. After consuming this potion, your balloons will lift higher in the air.

This can help you reach new places without the balloons sinking too far. Additionally, the Thermal Potion is great if you are trying to get all the Magma Blooms in the Red Hot Rampage minigame. This game is notoriously difficult, so the extra boost is much needed.

Spinip Alfredo Pizza
Cooking Station |
Pizza Oven (Mount Hothead) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Dough + Spinip + Coral Milk |
Spinip Pizza isn’t too beloved by anyone in particular, but if you are looking to make the Yummy Armchair, then you’ll need to make ten of them. This isn’t too difficult, but getting your hands on Spinip and Coral Milk isn’t the easiest, as you’ll need to do some searching.
When you do manage to find ten of each, you can then get 50 Sand Dollars and 20 Pineapples, and then craft the armchair. This is necessary in order to invite Azuki to your island; she requires all 13 pieces of Yummy furniture.
4
Rich Mochi
Cooking Station |
Chef’s Station (Imagination Cafe in City Town) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Rice Flour + Tofu |
Rich Mochi isn’t interesting; we know that. This recipe is strategically important though. Once you unlock the Imagination Cafe, you’ll need to continue leveling up your friendship with Usahana, and all types of mochi are a two-heart gift for her.
To make Rich Mochi, you’ll need some Tofu. At the time of writing this, we had a whopping 198 Tofu in our inventory, as it’s given by Hello Kitty in exchange for gifting to her. If you’ve been giving Hello Kitty daily gifts, then you most likely have a lot of Tofu, which isn’t too rare of a resource.
3
Starry Skies Shake
Cooking Station |
Dessert Machine (Dessert Boat) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Cactus Cream + Snowcicle + Starfruit |
To make the Starry Skies Shake, you’ll need access to Cloud Island and the Icy Peak; the ingredients for this shake can be found at these locations. Once these are unlocked though, the Starry Skies Shake is a must.

Kiki and Lala can be hard to give gifts to, especially if you just recently unlocked them as friends. Thankfully, the Starry Skies Shake is a three-heart gift for Kiki, and a one-heart gift for Lala. We suggest giving it to Kiki, but if you have some to spare, you can give a few to Lala.
2
Quattro Formaggi Pizza
Cooking Station |
Pizza Oven (Mount Hothead) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Dough + Moon Cheese + Coral Milk |
Speaking of Lala, you should also be making the Quattro Formaggi Pizza. This pizza is her three-heart gift, but with four tags, you can also give it to the following characters.
Overall, both Quattro Formaggi Pizza and the Starry Skies Shake are essential if you are trying to increase your friendship with Kiki and Lala to get your hands on the pink and blue Cloud Island Furniture.
1
Fiery Soda
Cooking Station |
Soda Machine (Gemstone Town) |
---|---|
Ingredients |
Fizzy Crystal + either Toasted Almond, Magma Bloom, or a Cinna Bloom |
Last but not least, we have the Fiery Soda. While this is nobody’s gift, it’s still a good soda to make. Firstly, it has three different recipes, so your ingredient choices aren’t too limited. This is great if you are trying to preserve a certain ingredient.
Additionally, this soda can be given to Retsuko, Wish Me Mell, and Kuromi. Wish Me Mell is a character that is particularly difficult to give gifts to, especially since she has no food items as her two and three-heart gifts.
