These JJK characters’ domain expansions could potentially rival Gojo’s Unlimited Void.
One of the most intriguing Domains revealed so far is Womb Profusion. Its grotesque imagery, unusual mechanics, and deep symbolic meaning make it stand out among the many domains showcased in the story. However, due to Kenjaku’s possession of Suguru Geto’s body, there has been debate over whether this Domain belongs to Kenjaku or is a remnant of Geto’s abilities.
What Is a Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Kaisen?
A Domain Expansion is an advanced barrier technique that manifests a sorcerer’s innate domain as a separate space infused with their cursed technique. Within this domain, all attacks from the user gain a guaranteed hit property. Domains are an extension of one’s mind and soul, making each user’s Domain Expansion unique.
Most Domain Expansions function by enclosing a target within a defined space, but there are exceptions, such as Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine, which manifests an external domain without barriers. Womb Profusion follows this same principle, making it particularly challenging to counter or dispel.

Domain Expansions offer unique powers beyond human comprehension. One could go with the strongest of the lot, like Unlimited Void, or pick one of the most unique ones, such as Idle Death Gamble. There are too many options to pick from.
Kenjaku’s Womb Profusion Explained
Womb Profusion materializes as a towering structure of grotesque, amalgamated cursed spirits. At its base, four bald spirits (which some fans suspect are meant to represent the Buddha) with eye-like markings on their shoulders possess the only visible bodies. Above them, a stacked mass of cursed spirit heads, gaping mouths, and sewn-together flesh-like appendages with branches growing from them complete the horrific totem.
The domain’s guaranteed-hit effect delivers an explosive force comparable to Maximum: Uzumaki, devastating anyone caught within its radius. Notably, Womb Profusion does not have a defined outer barrier, making it more resilient against conventional countermeasures. Even Tengen struggled to dismantle it, and Yuki Tsukumo’s Simple Domain was instantly erased upon activation. However, Tengen managed to counter it by targeting the edge of the guaranteed-hit area rather than the domain itself.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Is Kenjaku A Better Villain Than Sukuna?
Kenjaku was the mastermind behind all the events of the series and many fans think that he is a better villain than Sukuna. Is this true?
Does Womb Profusion Belong to Kenjaku or Geto?

Ch. 262, Vol. 29 |
Many fans argue that Womb Profusion belongs to Kenjaku, pointing to the idea that Domain Expansions are tied to the Innate Domain. Symbolically too, Womb Profusion aligns far more with Kenjaku than with Geto. Kenjaku has orchestrated the birth of new sorcerers and cursed beings across multiple centuries. He is responsible for the creation of the Death Painting Wombs, nine of whom he considers his sons, and he is also (technically) Yuji’s mother. This recurring theme of birth and transformation is deeply embedded in Kenjaku’s character, which makes Womb Profusion feel like an obvious extension of his ideology.
However, Gege essentially confirmed that the domain belonged to Geto in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262. After copying Kenjaku’s brain-hopping technique and taking control of Gojo’s body, Yuta immediately entered the battlefield. Upon arrival, he activated a Domain Expansion—not his own Authentic Mutual Love, but Gojo’s Unlimited Void. He soon noted that without Rika, he was not able to use other copied CT, and was limited to Kenjaku’s Brain Hopping, which only allowed him to use the CT of the body he was inhabiting.
Rika-chan isn’t haunting this body… I can only use Limitless now.
— Yuta while using Kenjaku’s Brain Hopping
Given this precedent, Kenjaku would have faced similar (if not the same) restrictions. While he was highly skilled at body-hopping, he could still only access techniques belonging to the body he inhabited.

Jujutsu Kaisen: How Gege Akutami Failed Kenjaku, Explained
Kenjaku was set up as a major antagonist in JJK. However, his character fell quite short.
This explains why Womb Profusion exhibits Geto’s influences. The structure of Womb Profusion supports Geto’s case more than Kenjaku’s. The domain creates a massive pillar seemingly composed of souls or corpses, grotesque in every sense. It then concentrates a powerful beam of energy as its sure-hit attack. This method of attack strongly resembles Maximum: Uzumaki, which was Geto’s signature technique. Given this visual and functional similarity, it becomes evident that Womb Profusion is a Domain Expansion derived from Geto’s own abilities. Though Kenjaku could still use residual abilities like Kaori Itadori’s Anti-Gravity System, Yuta’s experience suggests that he could not manifest his own Domain Expansion while in Geto’s body.
Kenjaku Might Have Altered Womb Profusion
Kenjaku may have had a deeper understanding of body-hopping than Yuta, but the same fundamental rules likely applied. He could still access some residual abilities from previous bodies, but core techniques—such as a Domain Expansion—were restricted to the body he inhabited.
Was there some trick behind Kenjaku being able to use his technique immediately following a Domain Expansion? I didn’t take any information like that when I copied his technique!
This suggests that while Womb Profusion may have had minor influences from Kenjaku, it remained primarily Geto’s domain. The way the sure-hit attack mirrors Maximum: Uzumaki further reinforces this, solidifying Womb Profusion as an ability Kenjaku merely inherited rather than one he personally developed.
