Summary
- Marvel Rivals has finally added a President Loki skin, and everyone is targeting players who use it.
- Someone has even recreated the infamous JFK assassination with the skin.
- Fans are also coming up with in-universe conspiracy theories, like a decoy planted by the Asgardian royal family.
One of the many reasons why Marvel Rivals is so successful is its steady flow of updates. Whether it’s new characters, skins, maps, or game modes, the devs never leave the fans wanting more. The beauty of this approach is that, due to the depth of the Marvel universe, NetEase will never run out of content to put out.

Forget New Heroes, Marvel Rivals Needs To Implement Cross Progression
For a game with so much going for it, it’s a bit bizarre that it has this oversight.
One of the new additions to the game is the President Loki skin. You may have seen it in the comics, as well as the Disney Plus Loki show. This skin for the God of Mischief consists of a dapper green suit and a trench coat. However, due to the name of the skin, players are taking aim and focusing on anyone who uses it.
Get Down Mr President Loki!
There’s no beating around the bush with this one – players are using President Loki and Black Widow to recreate the tragic assassination of US President John F. Kennedy. Not only is the President Loki skin being targeted throughout the game, but one Reddit post even played out the infamous assassination in a staged skit.
As can be seen in the video, President Loki is standing at the back of the Fantastic Four’s flying car and using the victorious emote. Just as the car turns the corner, Black Widow takes a shot at his head. However, being a god, it takes two shots to take President Loki down.
That’s not all. Much like JFK’s assassination, there seem to be a bunch of conspiracies making the rounds. “Look, all I’m saying is: there’s no definitive proof that it wasn’t a clone placed there as a decoy. What if it was all a setup created by Asgardian royal family?” joked one comment. “Do we really know who the shooter was working for? I’m just asking the hard hitting questions nobody else seems to. Can you prove to me that I’m 100% wrong? Exactly. Open your eyes, people!”
Others suggested that SHIELD was behind the assassination and that there’s a Hydra cell within the organization bent on destabilizing the world. A rather blurred photo may have even revealed a second shooter that looked a lot like a baby shark. We have no idea who this could possibly be.
