A FromSoftware fan has shared their impressive tattoo sleeve with the soulslike community, inking popular characters from Elden Ring and the Dark Souls series. FromSoftware is the Japanese developer behind games of this ilk, which are known to be relentless and punishing in nature, especially when it comes to boss battles. In addition to the Elden Ring and Dark Souls IPs, FromSoft has also brought the iconic games Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Demon’s Souls to the soulslike genre.
Elden Ring has undoubtedly become notorious for its difficulty since releasing in 2022, and the toiling continued two years later in 2024, when the substantial Shadow of the Erdtree expansion was unleashed. One year later, the Elden Ring collection will continue with the multiplayer spinoff title Elden Ring Nightreign, allowing fans to navigate Limgrave and tackle the unforgiving beasts with friends. Elden Ring: Nightreign has confirmed 10 returning bosses from the series, including The Nameless King, Centipede Demon, and The Fell Omen, which will help keep fans connected to previous entries.

Blaidd the Half-Wolf is a tragic hero in Elden Ring and a fan-favorite staple of the tattoo among Redditors. Another fan noted the tattoo’s Ranni application is the best they’ve seen so far and thought the piece would age great. The poster confirmed the sleeve took around 40 hours to complete, with a lot of praise being given to the tattoo artist, and stated the cost of this fantastic piece was “a lifetime of happiness.”
Ranni the Witch is a notable character in Elden Ring lore, recruiting the Tarnished to find treasure across the Lands Between. Revealed to be a potential successor to Queen Marika, Ranni ascended to become an Empyrean and was granted Blaidd as her shadow. Other fans have taken it upon themselves to return Elden Ring’s Ranni and her consort Blaidd through beautiful artwork to honor the tie between the witch and the wolf, and the characters remain two of the most beloved NPCs of the game.
