Damien Haas
Plays Laios Touden
The leader of the party and monster aficionado, Laios Touden, is played by Damien Haas. He first rose to stardom as a cast member on Smosh, where he co-hosted Smosh Games and The Damien & Shayne Show. Before that, he was a recurring actor on the Disney Channel sketch comedy series So Random.
Since then, Haas has amassed quite an impressive voice-acting resume. Some of his video game credits include Fortnite, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Anime fans may recognize him as Warden from Beyblade X, Kiyoka Kudo from My Happy Marriage, and Ryoga Hibiki Ranma 1/2.
Emily Rudd
Plays Marcille Donato
The party’s mage, Marcille Donato, has delighted anime fans since the first episode. She’s played by Emily Rudd, who got her start in the mid-2010s starring in music videos by recording artists such as Brandon Flowers and Skrillex. You may also know her as Nami from Netflix’s live-action One Piece series.
Rudd has graced the big screen many times, most notably as Cindy and Abigail in the Fear Street trilogy, based on R.L. Stine’s horror novels of the same name. She also appeared alongside Adam Sandler in the 2023 animated film Leo.
Casey Mongillo
Plays Chilchuck Tims
Chilchuck’s voice actor, Casey Mongillo, has had a remarkable career since they started in the mid-2000s. They’re best known as Shinji Ikari from the Netflix dub of Neon Genesis Evangelion, which earned them a nomination for Best Performance by a Voice Actor (English) at Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
Mongillo also plays Emporio Alniño in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Shou Suzuki in Mob Psycho 100, and several characters from Pokemon. JRPG fans will recognize them as the protagonist from Shin Megami Tensei 5. You can also hear them in Red Dead Redemption, Star Trek Online, and the Monster Prom series.
SungWon Cho
Plays Senshi
Everyone’s favorite chef, Senshi, is voiced by SungWon Cho, who’s arguably best known for his YouTube channel ProZD, where he does comedy sketches, food reviews, and many other types of videos. He also co-hosts the Let’s Play channel ProZD Plays Games.
Cho has seen great success in the voice-acting business. Some of his most notable performances include Nekomamushi from One Piece, Sidian from Pokemon Horizons, and Kage from Ranking of Kings, which landed him a nomination for Best Voice Artist Performance at the 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. You can also hear him in video games, such as Borderlands 3, God of War Ragnarok, and Vampire Survivors Ode to Castlevania DLC.
Lisa Reimold
Plays Falin Touden
Laios’s sister, Falin, is the whole reason why the party ventures into the dungeon at the beginning of the series. She’s voiced by Lisa Reimold, who’s also known as Aira Shiratori in the hit anime Dandadan and Ivy Pepper in Lackadaisy: The Animated Short.
Some of her other anime credits include Uran from Pluto, Kurumi from Lycoris Recoil, and Hinata Mukai from Gundam Build Divers Re: Rise. If you play RPGs, you’ve likely heard her as Framme from Fire Emblem Engage, Kali from Pokemon Masters, or Ceefore from Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless.

Plays Kabru
An ally of Laios’s party, Kabru shows up every now and then to lend his support. His voice actor, Cedric L. Williams, has starred in many notable Western and Japanese animated shows. He plays Cheetu in Hunter X Hunter, Senjuro Rengoku in Demon Slayer, and Don in The Promised Neverland. You can also hear him as Drake Miller and Glowboo in the Disney XD show Ghostforce.
Williams is no stranger to the video game world, as well. He voices Leon in Pokemon Masters EX, Kurosawa and Junya in Genshin Impact, and Al in Phantasy Star Online 2. He even provided voices for the film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
