The Reputation system in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 affects a lot of things in every town, making the game overall more difficult for you if you have a low reputation. For those willing to invest the time and effort into getting a good reputation, it can lead to people being more helpful and even giving you better prices.
While there are many ways to increase or raise your reputation, a lot of them take time and money. Pilgrimages are one of these options and they can be redone whenever you want; here’s how to start and complete them.

How To Start A Pilgrimage In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Unlike Indulgence Boxes, Pilgrimages offer a free way to increase your reputation. Pilgrimages can also be completed whenever you’d like and as many times as you’d like, so there’s nothing stopping you from completing a bunch to increase your reputation greatly, you’ll just have to take some time for all the required traveling. To start a Pilgrimage you’ll have to go to one of two locations we’ve found so far:
- Father Nicodemus – Trosky Castle: At the top of the eastern tower, in the room past the one where Captain Thomas was sick in, “For Whom The Bell Tolls”.
- Father Tobius – Kuttenberg: Outside the western gate at the chapel to the southwest.
Talking to either priest works and begins the task, “Pilgrimage”. The only limiter in this is that you can only complete one Pilgrimage at a time, so you’ll need to keep coming back to either NPC before heading back out to another shrine.

How To Complete A Pilgrimage In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The only way to easily complete a Pilgrimage is to open your map and track the task in the quest menu. Every Pilgrimage will randomly pick a shrine in that region and have you travel to it to pray. Luckily the quest marker will always directly mark the location on the map for you, so there’s no guesswork even if you haven’t been to that Shrine before.
Once you reach a shrine that is the location of your Pilgrimage, approach it and select the Pray option. Henry will then start reciting the prayer, and you’ll need to sit there and not move or stop him until he finishes. Even if it sounds like he’s repeating himself, let it all play out, otherwise, the Pilgrimage isn’t complete. There will be the occasional Pilgrimage where you’re asked to go to one of multiple shrines. When this happens, simply praying at any one will complete the task.
Completing your first Pilgrimage will give you the achievement Pentient One.
