While the Rivals quest is not the hardest one, it might be confusing how to start it. On top of that, there are several tips and nuances you should know before you dive into this mission. However, you can follow our step-by-step instructions and receive the Rivals token without issues.
How To Get A Token
To start the quest, you should talk to the Shady Chicken NPC. You can spawn this NPC by interacting with a giant The Hunt banner in the main lobby near your spawn point. Once you do that, talk to the Shady Chicken NPC to receive a quest.
Now, you need to complete two pretty simple tasks to receive the Rivals token:
- Complete a 1v1 match.
- Assassinate another five players in a 2v2 duel.
It’s worth noting that to participate in these challenges, you should talk to the Shady Chicken NPC again and pick one of two dialogue options, whether you want to start a 1v1 or 2v2 match.
The best tip would be to move actively around the map and don’t stay in one place when you see the opponent. Make yourself a hard-to-hit target and use various obstacles to trick your enemy and reach a better position. Always keep an eye on your ammo and reload while hiding somewhere.
Luckily, you don’t need to win either of the two matches. For example, if you make five kills in a 2v2 duel, you will still complete this challenge even if you lose. Therefore, focus on finishing an objective rather than receiving victory.
