Genshin Impact: Reel Ad-Venture Event Guide

Reel Ad-Venture is a new event in Genshin Impact that allows travelers to enjoy some leisure time with old friends with no combat involved. After talking to Xavier in Fontaine, players will receive ad-editing commissions that need to be edited according to the client’s requirements.

How to Unlock Reel Ad-Venture Event in Genshin Impact

Travelers only need to complete two requirements to unlock the Reel Ad-Venture event in Genshin Impact.

1. Reach Adventure Rank 20
2. Complete the Archon Quest “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”

Aside from the criteria above, completing the Tatara Tales side quest in Tatarasuna, Inazuma, is also recommended for complete immersion. Once you fulfill both requirements, the quest will be available in the quest menu. Talk to Xavier near Cafe Lutece in Court of Fontaine to start the event.

How to Play Reel Ad-Venture Event in Genshin Impact

In each stage, players will be given a Synopsis to read, and they must select appropriate assets for each shot and compile the shots into a complete sequence. You can earn Rave reviews and unlock all rewards by editing in line with the synopsis.

Stage 1: A Vital Choice

The first commission in Reel Ad-Venture event was from the Knights of Favonius. In the first four shots, Sucrose and Noelle show concern for an ordinary potion, which proves unsatisfactory as it fails to improve Noelle’s state. Then, in shots 5 to 7, Timaeus will be the main character as he explains that it’s a common situation and people must carefully select their potions. The following four shots are almost the same as the first four, but this time, Noelle re-selects the best potions and performs well when fighting the hilichurls. The last shot shows Timaeus once again, recommending everyone to choose the Favonian-brand potions.

Stage 2: Wanmin: Where Life Tastes Better!

The second commission comes from Liyue’s Wanmin Restaurant to attract new customers. The first four shots open with Guoba greeting customers out front, followed by Chef Mao’s sales pitch to promote the restaurant. From shots 5 to 7, Shenhe will take the limelight to promote Wanmin Restaurant’s budget-friendly pieces but still delicious foods. Afterward, Xiangling will take shots 8 to 11 for her part of the pitch, emphasizing the diner’s fresh flavors and diverse menu, ending with a collective endorsement from the crowd. The final two shots are for behind-the-scenes footage of Guoba secretly snacking off and then being caught by Xiangling.

Stage 3: Invoke the Path to Victory

The third commission is from the Arataki Gang in Genshin Impact’s Inazuma, which wishes to advertise a new Genius Invokation TCG deck. Start the first four shots with Arataki Itto handing out allowances to the members of the Arataki Gang, followed by a discussion on how to spend them. Shots 5 to 8 show Arataki Itto, who is somewhat displeased with their plan and leaves everyone else puzzled. Then, the next two shots focus on Arataki Itto, suggesting that it should be used to buy a brand-new Genius Invokation deck with the agreement of his gang. Finally, shot 11 delivers the Genius Invokation TCG advertising slogan, while the last shot displays the behind-the-scenes footage with Kuki Shinobu.

Stage 4: Focus on Your Future

The fourth commission in Reel Ad-venture is from the next region – Sumeru – with the appearance of Madam Faruzan and Cyno. The first three shots open with Faruzan, who is collecting her thoughts at her desk, followed by a messenger arriving with letters from students, and Faruzan eagerly accepts the letters. Shots 4 to 7 reveal the first two letters to be a rejection letter for her mentorship proposals, while the last letter is a reply from Collei. The following shots, 8 to 10, unveil Faruzan’s initial irritation, which gradually turns into acceptance. For the last shot, Cyno will make an appearance and advise everyone to carefully weigh up their options.

Stage 5: Boundless Adventure, Unbound Joy

The last commission came from Fontaine to create an ad for recruitment for the Tabletop Troupe. The first six shots revolve around members of the Tabletop Troupe sitting in their respective seats around the table. Clorinde, playing the role of a Game Master, would guide them to encounter a merchant, a Sternshield Crab blocking their path, and a Cryo Regisvine guarding a treasure. In each encounter, Navia, who is playing an adventurer, will attempt to use “Persuasion.” The following shots from 7 to 9 features Furina questioning whether Persuasion can be used on plants, with Navia responding that she has the “Speak with Plants” ability. With that, Navia successfully claim the treasure. The last two shots ended with Lyney and Lynette reciting slogans for the Tabletop Troupe.
