WWE 2K25’s The Island Has Bray Wyatt Reference

WWE 2K25 players recently discovered that the new “The Island” mode has a Bray Wyatt reference that pays tribute to one of the late wrestler’s most beloved in-ring personas. While exploring The Island, WWE 2K25 players can uncover other secrets involving their favorite WWE superstars, including members of the Bloodline and the Samoan Dynasty.

Released on March 14, WWE 2K25 celebrates the legendary Anoa’i wrestling family, including cover star and former undisputed champion Roman Reigns. In WWE 2K25’s Showcase mode, players can relive unforgettable moments and matches from the careers of Roman Reigns, The Rock, Jey Uso, and more. In addition, WWE 2K25 brings a brand-new multiplayer mode in the form of The Island. Players can explore a number of districts and points of interest throughout the map of The Island with a party or by themselves. The Island features single-player quests, challenges and live events, and a ranking system as well. A number of Easter eggs and secrets are waiting to be discovered in The Island’s districts, which are inspired by the roster of current and past WWE superstars.

Reddit user AlexMercer28900 and other WWE 2K25 players in the community have noticed a reference to late WWE superstar Bray Wyatt on The Island. Outside the Undertaker Church in The Deadlands district is a gated residence with a Firefly Fun House TV and a rocking chair, which are tributes to Bray Wyatt and his wrestling personas over the years. If players wait at the gate for a short time, the rocking chair will start to move back and forth, similarly to the rocking chair depicted in Bray Wyatt’s old entrance videos. Further, Alexa Bliss’ Lilly doll is hiding nearby behind a stone pillar in The Deadlands.

WWE 2K25 Players Discover Bray Wyatt Easter Egg Outside The Undertaker Church on The Island

AlexMercer28900 and Bray Wyatt fans were pleased with the in-game reference, but many other players aren’t happy about The Island in WWE 2K25. Some fans believe The Island has subpar graphics for a WWE 2K game, drawing comparisons to classic PlayStation 2 games like Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Others are already bored by the mode, with some players going as far as to say that The Island’s omission from WWE 2K25’s last-gen and PC versions could be a positive for those player bases.

Although The Island is drawing criticism from vocal WWE 2K25 fans, the Bray Wyatt tribute is a welcome addition that fans of the late superstar may appreciate while exploring The Deadlands district. WWE 2K25 players can also head to Hero HQ, The Arcade of Tomorrow, and The Temple of Ancestors on The Island to find more Easter eggs, progress through the mode’s career-like mode, and enjoy other experiences with friends.
