Amouranth’s Twitch channel may have been at risk of yet another ban, but she received an “account warning” this time instead. As reported by Dexerto, Amouranth hosted a recent stream where she and her husband were interviewed by banned streamer Adin Ross. Twitch issued a warning to Amouranth in response. Amouranth confirmed that the warning was “for having a banned streamer’s voice on my recent vod,” and added, “I appreciate the generous warning and I won’t do that again.” Adin Ross has been banned from Twitch since 2023, but has been one of Kick’s highest-profile stars since that platform’s launch.
Amouranth Gets Warning from Twitch
Adin Ross was interviewing Amouranth and her husband about the March 2 incident where Amouranth was attacked by home invaders who were apparently trying to steal her cryptocurrency. Amouranth was pistol-whipped, but her husband managed to shoot one of the intruders, causing them to flee.
Amouranth’s Twitch channel remains unbanned at the time of this writing, though the same can’t be said for Adin Ross. Ross has asked Twitch for one more chance, but the live-streaming giant hasn’t budged. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has indicated that he is open to having a conversation with Ross, but it’s unclear if that has ever taken place. For now, Adin Ross remains banned on Twitch with no return date in sight.
Twitch has made some changes to its ban policies that could potentially open the door for an eventual Adin Ross comeback on the platform. The new Twitch ban policies make it so most minor violations fall off after 90 days, while more serious violations last for 1-2 years. “Permanent” Twitch bans, like the one issued to Adin Ross, can be appealed after six months.
