Allen and Omni-Man’s Galactic Team-Up
Omni-Man Joins the Coalition of Planets to Fight Viltrumites
- Featured in: Invincible #66
Allen the Alien and Nolan Grayson make for one of the most exciting and hilarious duos still to come with Invincible Season 4. Considering Mark’s recovering from his battle with Conquest, starting Season 4 with Omni-Man and Allen’s trip to Talescria as they discuss plans with Thaedus to destroy the Viltrumites once and for all, is a great idea.
Allen and Omni-Man explore the galaxy in search of weapons that can destroy the Viltrumites, including Space Racer, Rognarr, and Battle Beast. Nolan and Allen becoming a rag-tag space-faring duo can certainly make for some exciting episodes.

The Reveal of the Scourge Virus
The Pathogen That Can Kill Viltrumites is Revealed
- Featured in: Invincible #67
In a top-secret lab on Talescria, Thaedus reveals to Nolan that he has his greatest scientists working on an improved strain of the Scourge Virus, a pathogen that can easily destroy Viltrumites. It’s a man-made virus, enhanced to kill only Viltrumites and part of the reason why they were reduced to fewer than 50 pure-blooded members of their species.
The reveal of the Scourge Virus is deadly, as not only could it spell the end of the Viltrumties and end the conflict across the galaxy, but it could also be the end for Nolan, Mark, and Oliver – all of which who share Viltrum DNA.

The Return of Conquest
The Most Feared Viltrumite Makes His Return
- Featured in: Invincible #68
Despite having his face reduced to mush by Mark’s adrenaline-fueled headbutts, Conquest survives the encounter and enters into a coma to heal. After all, Viltrumties can only be killed when their vital organs are destroyed, such as their brains and their hearts – for they cannot heal those. So, Conquest lives, and Conquest demands revenge.

Invincible: 8 Differences Between the Comic and the Show
Despite being a mostly faithful adaptation of Invincible, the Prime Video animated series does have a few differences worth mentioning.
Conquest wakes up within The Block, a remote G.D.A. outpost in the Mojave Desert, where he immediately bursts free from the pathetic restraints they put in place, and he makes his way back to the Viltrum Empire. Conquest won’t get too involved in Season 4, but it’s just another reason that Mark has not to trust Cecil, if, and when he finds out.

Eve’s Pregnancy
Atom Eve Becomes Pregnant with Invincible’s Child
- Featured in: Invincible #68
The last page of Invincible #68 reveals that Eve has fallen pregnant, a revelation that scares her more than it excites her. Eve and Mark are only young, and Mark doesn’t know what Eve is going through when she reveals to herself a positive pregnancy test in the bathroom, which also explains why her powers are acting up with Mark’s Invincible suit melting.
Eve’s powers failing are not a result of her resurrection, but from her pregnancy – and it could be very dangerous for her to use these powers while pregnant in case she manages to manipulate the atomic structure of the baby growing inside her. Yet, how will Eve’s pregnancy complicate her relationship as both a hero and with Mark?

The Sequid Invasion of Earth
Rus Livingston Brings an Army of Sequids to Conquer
- Featured in: Invincible #69
With Atom Eve and Invincible occupied elsewhere with their own battle against an alien who seeks the world’s energy supply, the Guardians of the Globe are tasked with defeating the resurgence of the sequid army that has taken over the city, bringing forth an army of sequids led by their hivemind host, Rus Livingston.
With the sequids taking over the city and making short work of the Guardians of the Globe, it will be interesting to see how this war rages out, and if Invincible comes out on top. Or, will a sequid survive yet another attempt at world domination…

The Flaxans Return
The Dimensional Conquerors Fight a Daring War
- Featured in: Invincible #71
It turns out that Omni-Man didn’t completely destroy the Flaxan’s home world in Season 1, as they have returned yet again to try and take over Earth. Why they want Earth, is anyone’s guess at this point. After all, the planet’s time works so differently that Flaxans die within seconds on Earth. Could it be for revenge against Omni-Man?

Nolan Reunites with Debbie
Omni-Man Returns to Earth to Apologize to Debbie
- Featured in: Invincible #71
Nolan’s revelation that he needs to fight the Viltrum Empire doesn’t come from his execution, but from the emotion he feels when it comes to his son and his wife. Nolan realizes that he misses Debbie, and while he knows he has no life on Earth, he can’t shake the feeling of the woman he spent years of his life with, even if it was just a few among the thousands he’s been around for.
Nolan returns to Earth to try and make amends with Debbie, but things don’t go so well. It’s nice to see Omni-Man show such heroism and love for his family again, even if the bridge has been scorched beyond repair, but who knows what their relationship has in store for the future.

The Viltrumite War Dawns with a Rematch with Conquest
Invincible Leaves Earth to Fight the Viltrumites with His Father and Brother
- Featured in: Invincible #72
Trying to make amends with Debbie isn’t the only reason Nolan goes back to Earth to see the Grayson family. It’s actually to recruit Mark into a war with himself, Tech Jacket, and Allen to fight the Viltrumite War and put an end to their galactic conquest once and for all, which leaves Mark with no choice but to leave Eve and Earth behind to fight the greatest battle of his life.
Yet, things aren’t going to be so simple, as Invincible quickly runs into a man he thought he had killed, as Conquest grins before him. What awaits is an epic rematch, but will this battle happen in Season 4, or will it be teased for the start of Season 5?
