From low-level penguins to legendary creatures, Ice Pals remain invaluable for your whole journey through Palpagos Island.

Nevertheless, it can be hard to delve into the most frigid corners of the game, searching for the perfect glacial partner to add to your team. So, here’s a detailed look at the 10 best Ice Pals and how their unique abilities can change the way you approach Palworld’s challenges.

In the early game, Pengullet

is an adaptable Ice Pal with a remarkable set of skills suited for both combat and utility. For example, the Pengullet Cannon Partner Skill transforms this Pal into an effective rocket launcher, capable of blowing up your adversaries with ease and also knocking out the Pal because, well, you are using this poor penguin as ammunition.

Beyond its combat utility, Pengullet’s proficiency in Cooling, Handiwork, Transporting, and Watering makes it a valuable Pal for various base tasks. Also, since this is most likely the first Ice Pal you’ll come across, Pengullet can introduce you to essential base equipment such as the Fridge.

Due to its Cooling Trait, Mau Cryst can also operate key equipment like the Fridge. However, the best use for this creature is getting you richer while you explore new corners of the map.

Mau Cryst can only be captured on the frozen land in the northmost corner of the Palworld archipelago. However, you can get it earlier in the game by buying a regular Mau from the Black Marketer and breeding it with a Pengullet.

Unfortunately, Foxcicle has a single Trait, Level 2 Cooling, making it less versatile for base maintenance. Yet, its well-balanced status and support abilities in combat still cement Foxcicle as one of the best Ice Pals.

Loupmoon Cryst is one of the newest pals introduced with the Feybreak Island update, and it’s a solid addition to any base. With level three Cooling and level two Handiwork, it can handle tasks efficiently while keeping your base cool. But that’s not all – if you bring it into battle, it proves to be a strong ally. Its partner skill lets you unleash a powerful Snow Claw attack on targeted enemies, making it a great choice for combat.

If you’re looking to catch Loupmoon Cryst, head to Feybreak Island and make your way toward the southern blue area. You’ll find this pal roaming around, ready to be captured.

Chillet

‘s rare combination of Ice and dragon elements already makes it a flexible combatant worth having on your team. Yet, its utility is augmented by its Wriggling Weasel Partner Skill, which adds Dragon damage to your attacks, quite the useful combination that makes Chillet a great choice for hunting down Dark-type Pals while keeping the advantages of an Ice Pal.

In addition to Cooling, Chillet also has the Gathering Trait. However, since these two Traits are Level 1, it’s best to keep this Ice Pal on the front lines instead of your base.
