Blacksmithing is a major and in-depth mechanic in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that allows Henry to make all kinds of weapons to use. Blacksmithing can be leveled up to learn new perks and increase the quality of the weapons you make, leading to some of the best options in the game.
Once you level up your blacksmithing to one of the higher levels, you’ll even unlock a unique quality only Henry can make, which really does make the best version of every weapon in the game, so you’ll want to start blacksmithing early. The Knight’s Sword is a great option early on and also has very good stats; here’s where to get the Sketch for it.

Where To Get Sketch – Knight’s Sword In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sketch – Knight’s Sword
can be purchased from the blacksmith in Trosky Castle, Osina. At the beginning of the game, you won’t be able to enter Trosky Castle until you progress through the main story and complete the quest, “For Whom The Bell Tolls“. After finishing this quest you’ll be able to come and go from the castle and the blacksmith whenever you want. This also includes any story events, as you can always return to Trosky as long as you’re not actively wanted for crimes you committed.
After getting the Sketch, be sure to go into your inventory and learn it to add it to your recipe book where it can be selected when interacting with a smithy.

Materials & Stats Of A Knight’s Sword In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
A Knight’s Sword is a powerful one-handed option that excels early into the game if you can find the materials shortly after reaching Trosky Castle. To craft a Knight’s Sword you’ll need:
-
1
Coin Sword Pommel
-
1
Reinforced Sword Guard
- 2 Frankfurt Steel
-
2
Scrap Metal
-
1
Cow Skin
All of these materials can be found in Trosky, though you may have a bit of trouble finding Reinforced Sword Guards and an abundance of Frankfurt Steel. Once you progress through the game and get to the main city of Kuttenberg, there will be many weapon shops where you’ll be able to buy all of these materials in abundance if you wish.
This is one of the better one-handed swords in the game and excels in slashing damage. It’s worth stocking up on these materials and aiming to create the highest quality you can, along with making a new one when you finally unlock Henry’s Quality.
