The Frogs quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 features a hilarious experience. Check out all the steps you need to follow in this guide.
Unfortunately, some groups simply cannot get along. Such is the case between the people of Tachov and Zhelejov. Due to disagreements over the ownership of a certain pasture, the two communities simply despise one another. Throughout the years, they’ve been wreaking havoc on one another and when you come along, they invite you to join the fray.
How To Start The Mice Quest
To start the Mice questline, you need to head for Tachov. This is a small town north of Troskowitz. The person you need to look for is the innkeeper named Prochek.
You can find Prochek managing the inn that sits along the northern edge of the town. He may be inside one of the rooms if you don’t see him outside.
Speak to Prochek and bring up the Zhelejovites in your conversation. He will ask you to help him play a prank on Olbram from Zhelejov to get back at him for his past mischief.
The Mice questline is a unique one that plays the opposite of the Frog questline given by Olbram in Zhelejov. Only one of each can be active at a time. You’ll end up failing one quest if you take the other, so make sure to complete each first before you accept the other questline.
Accept his request to prank Olbram by painting on his prized white bull to begin the quest. To paint the bull, Prochek will advise you to get two things: paint and sleeping potions.
The paint can be purchased from the tailor in Troskowitz. Inquire about the paint and he’ll let you know how much it is. You can pay him the groschen or you can use your charisma and tell him you find it expensive. If you succeed, he’ll give you the paint for free.
How To Get Sleeping Potion
The sleeping potion you need is called Lullaby potion. You will need three Lullaby potions to put the bull to sleep.
First, you need to obtain the recipe. This can be given by Radovan, the blacksmith in Tachov. His forge is across the inn, and you’ll find him working there during the day. At night, Radovan can be found inside his home right behind the forge.
You can get the Lullaby potion recipe from Radovan if you’ve completed The Blacksmith’s Son quest.
Begin a conversation with Radovan and tell him you need a recipe for something that can calm animals down. He’ll give you the ingredients as well as the instructions on how to prepare the potion.
There’s an alchemy table you can use in the shed by the apothecary’s shop in Troskowitz.
Once you have both the paint and the Lullaby potion, you can head to Zhelejov to play the prank on Olbram.

How To Sneak In To Paint Olbram’s Bull
In Zhelejov, look for where they keep the bulls. This is a small barn along the northern edge of the town. Look for the trough inside. It should be on the left side from the entrance.
The barn is considered a private area that you’re not allowed into. Make sure to sneak inside or to enter only when no one is around.
You need to spike the trough during the day so that Olbram’s bull can drink from it and be fast asleep by nightfall. At the right time, pour the Lullaby potion into the trough.
The next step after that is to wait for nightfall to paint the bull. There are two ways you can do this. The first method is to simply remain in the barn and wait inside. Tuck yourself into the corner of the barn to stay hidden and make no noise. At night, you can creep your way up to the sleeping bull and perform your prank.
If you need to exit the barn before nightfall for any reason, you can sneak your way outside and exit Zhelejov. At night, you’re not allowed into the premises any longer so you can’t simply just walk in.
Sneak back into Zhelejov and avoid the attention of any roaming guards or residents. There will be someone stationed right by the entrance to the barn, and you must avoid catching his attention.
While the coast may be clear at any point, people may start patrolling suddenly so make sure you’re not caught out in the open.
You can try to lure him away by throwing rocks elsewhere, or you can attempt to go through the opposite side of the entrance. He won’t spot you if you sneak in from there provided you’re not making any noise.
Quietly go to the white bull sleeping by the trough. Interact with the bull and you’ll be given three artistic options on what to paint on the bull. Select your favorite one and you will begin working on your masterpiece.
After a few moments, you should be done painting the bull. The guard is likely to still be stationed outside, so keep sneaking while staying completely silent. Any disturbance will cause him to come into the barn to investigate.
You will then need to exit the barn quietly. Sneak out and head towards the left to safely make your escape. Once outside, you can fast travel to a different location to avoid any unwanted attention.
Head back to Prochek to report your success and complete the quest.
