Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Aren’t Happy With New Clover Craze Event
Treyarch finds itself in hot water with Call of Duty fans as Black Ops 6 players express their disappointment with the new Clover Craze event.
Treyarch and Raven Software have now followed up on that release with yet another update, which rolled out on Friday, March 14. The newly debuted patch tweaks the Belt-Fed magazine, one of the attachments introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2. The new version of the attachment is capable of firing more rounds before causing the weapon to overheat. Moreover, the overheat effect itself will wear out more quickly, with this duo of changes thus making the Belt-Fed magazine more viable across all modes of play.
Black Ops 6 Removes Belt-Fed ADS Firing Movement Speed Penalty
The light machine gun attachment has received yet another buff with the March 14 patch, which removes the aiming-down-sights (ADS) firing movement speed penalty of any LMG that has it equipped. While LMGs players have other movement penalties to consider, the removal of this particular debuff is still bound to make them more mobile. The Belt-Fed Attachment can be unlocked through the Black Ops 6 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Event Pass.
The March 14 update also eliminates a weapon build bug that sometimes caused players to be hit with a “Max build limit reached” error. The developers did not elaborate on the root cause of this issue, which was reportedly troubling some players since before the first March 2025 update rolled out. The new patch also fixes a bug in the Black Ops 6 Zombies mode that caused the Overheat meter to appear after equipping the Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon. The March 14 update is now available for download on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. As always, the size of the new patch varies by platform.
The next major Black Ops 6 update is expected to materialize with the advent of the game’s third season, which is scheduled to debut as soon as Season 2 comes to a close on April 2. In the meantime, players have until March 20 to participate in the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event, which offers a variety of free rewards, ranging from emblems and operator skins to stickers and weapons.
