We Need More Games Like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Warhorse has created a masterful sequel where its medieval world is your oyster.

In a recent interview, Henry actor Tom McKay revealed that Warhorse already has an idea of what’s next for the boy from Bohemia, and that he would gladly return to the role of Henry, even if a possible third game were to have a new protagonist. With the amount of love Henry has received, it’s likely that McKay would jump at the chance of playing him again.

Kingdom Come May Deliver Again

In a conversation with Dan Allen Gaming, McKay was asked how he’d feel if Henry was not the protagonist of the next game(thanks, GamesRadar). “We do have a very good sense of what’s happening next, obviously I can’t talk about any of that, but I think those decisions are not in our hands, and I am open to all ideas,” he replied.

It’s hard to imagine Henry being a supporting character in a possible third game, especially after how much we’ve seen him grow. But with Geralt making way for Ciri in The Witcher 4, it’s not entirely unthinkable. It would be nice to see Henry having a successful and calm life in the third game while the new protagonist gets back to lifting sacks. But it would be nice to play as him like we did with Godwin in the current game.

As for if he’d return to the role, McKay said he would be delighted to. “I’m happy to play this character for as long or as little as anybody wants me to,” he revealed. “Of course, it’s ultimately decided by Warhorse, but really, the fans kind of dictate a lot of this narrative in terms of what they’re into, and what they think, and all that stuff, and I think that’s a really appropriate thing.

“But yeah, I’m happy to play this character as long as anybody is bothered to listen to me doing it,” he laughed.
