The Novacrystal is a Rarity 7 item that may be quite tricky to get your hands on. Fortunately, there are multiple ways to farm this item. By following this guide, you’ll be able to collect as many of them as you need in no time.
Where To Find Novacrystal
Novacrystal can be obtained from Mining Crops all over the map after you’ve reached High Ranks and completed the main story by defeating Zoh Shia. The chances of getting this item from a Mining Crop are rare, but you’ll immediately notice it if you’ve found one, as your Hunter starts to swing around this sparkling crystal in their hand.
If you’re having trouble finding Mining Crops, you can open the map and look for them. The Mining Crops are represented by small blue icons with a tiny question mark on the map screen. You can press the corresponding button to mark these Mining Crops as a waypoint to auto-travel to them using your Seikret.
Mining crops are restored in about 15 minutes, so if you don’t find the Novacystal in a crop, you can always return to it after a while after searching elsewhere. Additionally, you can get Novacrystals as certain side quests and optional quests rewards.
You can also get Novacrystals by fighting against certain monsters, such as the Gypceros. Destroying open wounds and breaking the head of a Gypceros also has a chance of dropping a Novacrystal. If the optional quest for defeating Gypceros is available, you can do it multiple times to farm Novacrystals.
