Like most open-world RPGs, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 comes with its own share of bugs and glitches. While most of these bugs are just general jank that can be endearing and funny, the game does have a rare habit of breaking at times, due to NPC behaviour or missing items. With that in mind, along with sick fades for Henry, Warhorse Studios has released a massive 68GB patch.

While most of the patch notes are about fixes and balances of all sorts, the only new addition to the game is the barber in Zhelejov and Kuttenberg. Now Henry can rock multiple hairstyles, including a mullet, that will woo the wenches and miller’s daughters. However, based on the balances and changes, it seems like medieval life has become a whole lot easier.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Patch 1.3 Makes The Game A Bit Easier
As for the balances and fixes, Warhorse has released a lengthy patch not for all the changes made to the game. A series of lighting and animation fixes have been made across the board, but primarily during the alchemy and blacksmithing minigames. This comes along with a series of animation improvements to make these sequences more immersive.
Balancing changes are the meat of the update, with improvements made to things like armour durability, stealth items, pickpocketing difficulty, prices and weight of numerous items, better loot from certain chests, lockpicking in the early regions of the game, damage done by arrows, prices of skill teachers, and polearm damage among other things.
The Blacksmithing process has been rebalanced overall, along with a clearer indication of how hot the metal has become, including more recipes in blacksmiths’ wares, alignment of semi-finished products, and interactivity with blacksmiths. Hopefully, this has not affected the easy smithing process that the game doesn’t tell you about.
Combat has also seen a rather major overhaul in terms of damage and defense values. Animation has also been improved for various melee and ranged weapons. However, the biggest change made here is that taking damage will no longer affect your ability to unsheathe your weapons.

Warhorse has created a masterful sequel where its medieval world is your oyster.
In terms of crime, NPCs will no longer hear you creeping from miles away, along with a number of behavioural changes and reactions. Revised reactions to sleeping in NPCs’ beds have also been made, but it’s unclear how they will react now. Tutorials have been added for what the rabbit icons mean.
