Forza Horizon 5 Platinum Trophy Won’t Be as Difficult as Ex

Forza Horizon 5 Platinum Trophy Won't Be as Difficult as Ex

Summary

  • Forza Horizon 5 players only need to collect 53 out of 165 trophies for the Platinum Trophy when the game launches for the PS5.
  • Microsoft announced pre-order bonuses for Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, including free in-game currency and a car.
  • PS5 Pro support for Forza Horizon 5 will enhance the game’s Performance and Quality modes.

Forza Horizon 5 players will not need all 165 trophies to get the Platinum Trophy when the popular racing game is released for the PlayStation 5. This is great news for fans who want to pursue this trophy, as they will spend significantly less time chasing it on Forza Horizon 5.

Forza Horizon 5 was originally released for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in 2021, achieving glowing reviews from most critics. Earlier this year, Microsoft announced that Forza Horizon 5 would be released for the PlayStation 5 on April 29, surprising both Xbox and Sony gamers. The Standard Edition of Forza Horizon 5 will be sold for $60, while the Premium Edition will be out for $100 and give players four days of early access.

Gears of War Has The Perfect Excuse to Follow in Forza Horizon 5’s Footsteps

The excitement for Gears of War: E-Day is palpable, and that hype could be even greater if it copied Forza Horizon 5’s recent move.

Now TrueTrophies has uncovered the whole list of trophies available in the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5, which will have a total of 165 trophies to collect. Fortunately, gamers will only need to complete the 53 trophies that were part of the original base game to unlock the maximum prize, which will serve as the 54th one. According to TrueTrophies, gamers can be expected to drive for over 40 hours to obtain the Platinum Trophy, as they will need to destroy all 250 Bonus Boards, win 80 races events, get Manufacturer Bonuses for at least 25 cars, and more to unlock it. All the other 111 trophies will be unlockable, too, but will require even more time, and are related to add-ons such as the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure DLCs.

Forza Horizon 5 Players Will Only Need to Get 53 Trophies Instead of 164 to Unlock the Platinum Trophy

This is not the only good news for Forza Horizon 5 fans. Microsoft recently revealed the Forza Horizon 5 PS5 pre-order bonuses, which will include the in-game currency #Forzathon Points, as well as a free 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE.

As expected, Forza Horizon 5 will also have PS5 Pro support. The base game will already have Performance and Quality modes, but these modes will receive “substantial boosts” if players use a PS5 Pro.

Unfortunately, not everything is good news for gamers who want to play Forza Horizon 5 on the PS5. Microsoft has confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 will require a Microsoft Account to play on the PS5, which has concerned some users. According to Microsoft, logging into the account will be mandatory to support crossplay, which was promised as part of the game’s feature on the PS5. Despite these possibly annoying issues, Forza Horizon 5 will likely be a hit on the PS5, as the title is widely acclaimed as one of the best racing games ever made.
