Blizzard confirms that the Mother’s Blessing bonuses event is coming back very soon for Diablo 4. The event promises to be an excellent opportunity for Diablo 4 players to continue leveling their characters as well as progressing through Season 7 and its battle pass before it comes to an end next month.

There’s been a lot of excitement surrounding Diablo 4 as of late, with Blizzard starting to open up more and more about Season 8. A Campfire Chat with developers revealed a ton of new information, including that Diablo 4 is bringing back a classic boss for the endgame. Belial, one of the four lesser demons and a major Diablo 3 boss, is being planned to be brought back as an Exalted level endgame boss, promising major rewards for those who can overcome the challenge.

In the meantime, however, Blizzard is bringing back the popular Mother’s Blessing world bonus for Diablo 4 players to take advantage of. Diablo 4‘s Mother’s Blessing recently ended back in February, but Blizzard is adding it back starting on March 18 and lasting for a full week for both eternal and seasonal characters. As expected, the event boosts XP and Gold gain: 35% for the former and 50% for the latter. However, this month’s event also includes another handy bonus.

Alongside Gold and XP, during Mother’s Blessing in March, players who turn in Grim Favors will also get an extra Gift of the Tree cache. However, Blizzard calls these caches a Collection of Chaos, so what they contain appears to be unpredictable. Regardless, the bonus works extremely well with Diablo 4‘s current Season of Witchcraft, which heavily revolves around the Tree of Whispers.

Speaking of seasons, things could be evolving soon for Diablo 4, as Rod Fergusson hinted that the modern-day Battle Pass feels a bit like an antiquated system. Without offering any concrete plans for the future, Fergusson teased changes coming to Diablo 4 in an effort to give players more agency, even highlighting Call of Duty battle passes prior to Black Ops 6, where players could essentially pick what they want to unlock next.
