Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players aren’t happy with the new Clover Craze event, with many blasting it as “lazy” and “the worst event ever.” The event kicked off on March 13 and will end when Season 3 begins on April 3, but most Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are blasting Treyarch Studios for making Clover Craze so easy. A large number of users have claimed that they completed the entire event in a matter of hours.
Prior to the launch of Clover Craze, Treyarch Studios teamed up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a new Black Ops 6 event. Unlike Clover Craze, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration introduced a new Event Pass for players to level up and complete. Unfortunately, it caused a huge amount of controversy among the Call of Duty community as fans looking to get their hands on all four Turtle operators needed to fork out approximately $80 for four separate bundles. Although there was a free version of the Event Pass, the Premium Track was an additional $10, bringing the overall price to close to $100.

Black Ops 6 Player Call New Event ‘Lazy’
Black Ops 6‘s new Clover Craze event is officially live, with a plethora of St. Patrick’s Day-themed rewards up for grabs. However, much like past events, Clover Craze has caused quite the controversy among players. Over on the Black Ops 6 subreddit, numerous posts have begun appearing as users state that they completed the event in just a few hours. Reddit user National-Ad5287 questioned why the event was live for two weeks “if it literally takes an hour to complete.” They then explained how they played just five rounds of Zombies on Liberty Falls and racked up more than enough clovers to complete the event. Others, such as YNW-Yogurt1 said they finished the event within 30 minutes on Directed Mode on Liberty Falls.
Although many players believe Call of Duty‘s events should be more challenging, it appears as though the quickest way to unlock all of the Clover Craze event rewards is by hopping into a game of Zombies. Another post by Reddit user LegendaryAim1610 called Clover Craze the “laziest, worst event ever,” and explained that they completed ten rounds of Zombies and had accumulated 215 of the 1800 clovers required in just five minutes of gameplay. “The event sucks,” the user said, before stating that Treyarch Studios should have given fans a Double XP weekend instead.
This isn’t the first time that a Black Ops 6 event has sparked controversy, and it likely won’t be the last. Fans also took to social media earlier this year to criticize the new Terminator event, which once again had players collecting currency from downed enemies in order to exchange them for in-game rewards, such as new weapon blueprints, emblems, calling cards, and more. But with many of the best cosmetic items, such as The Terminator operator bundle, requiring fans to spend their hard-earned COD Points, the event was blasted by players who called it “boring” and said that the rewards were “mid.”
