Assassin’s Creed Shadows Getting Fan Favorite Feature

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will feature a comprehensive Photo Mode at launch. Following the 2023 title Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be the first game in the series to be set in Japan, something that has long been requested by fans. Players will control both Yasuke and Naoe as they take the fight to the Templar Order, and each character will bring their own skills to the table, with Yasuke being more of a frontline fight and Naoe preferring to stick to the shadows. Assassin’s Creed Shadows Changing Course on Steam Deck

The developers behind the upcoming title Assassin’s Creed Shadows are switching course when it comes to the game being playable on the Steam Deck.

In a new post made to the official Assassin’s Creed Shadows Twitter account, the developers confirmed that the game will have a Photo Mode at launch. Fans have eagerly awaited this announcement, as the Photo Mode found in Assassin’s Creed Mirage was incredibly well-received. Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Photo Mode will include a revamped UI, helpful tutorials for new players, more aperture and focal length options, as well as new FX filters, stickers, and additional customization options. Players are urged to share their best snapshots after the game launches using the hashtags #ACPhotoMode and #AssassinsCreedShadows.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Will Feature a Robust Photo Mode

In early March, the PS5 Pro enhancements for Assassin’s Creed Shadows were detailed by Ubisoft, and players will be able to choose between three special graphics modes: Performance, Fidelity, and Balanced. The title will take up a massive 123GB of storage space, and those eager to immediately jump into the action on release day can preload Assassin’s Creed Shadows now. Early reports indicated that the title wouldn’t be available on the Steam Deck, but Ubisoft now claims that Shadows will be on Valve’s console at launch, pending confirmation from the console maker.

This week, controversy arose after it was reported that Ubisoft is considering selling some of its IP due to the company’s recent struggles. Many are awaiting the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows with bated breath, as it seems like the developer’s future greatly depends on the game’s success. After two delays, Shadows will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 20.
