All Swords In Genshin Impact

A sword may only be as good as its wielder, but a stronger weapon will always make your favorite Genshin Impact character deal that much more damage. However, simply going for stats won’t always work out, and putting your Mistsplitter Reforged on Nilou won’t make her Bountiful Blooms deal more damage.

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Diluc

Properly equip one of the best heavy-hitters in Genshin Impact by giving Diluc the right weapons.

Genshin has no shortage of cool swords to choose from, split between three distinct ranks of three-star, four-star, and five-star weapons. However, what works best will be different for each character, and knowing what stats each weapon provides can help you make a stronger team. For this reason, we’ve compiled a list of all Genshin Impact sword passives and stats for your gacha needs.

Five-Star Swords

Keqing holding the Mistsplitter Reforged in Genshin Impact.

Five-star swords are the strongest weapons you can get for your Genshin Impact characters. They have higher stats than other rarities and boast better passives as well.

The only way to get your hands on these is by spending Primogems on banners. This does mean that your chance at fetching any of these is hidden behind chance, but the power they hold is well worth the difficulty.

Some characters, specifically ones with non-ATK scalings, can make great use of three-star options.

Four-star weapons make up the majority of Genshin Impact’s weaponry. They can be found while pulling in banners, crafted, gotten from quests, and even as rewards in events.

These are the most general weapons in the game and are what you’ll be using for most of your characters. They’re usually worse than their five-star alternatives, but can still be solid options, occasionally even better than premier swords.

Three-Star Swords

Bennett holding the Harbinger of Dawn in Genshin Impact.

Three-star weapons are generally not recommended if you want a strong character. They have worse stat values, which means using a three-star CRIT weapon instead of a four-star one will always grant less CRIT.

This also means that three-star weapons are more or less never the best choice for anyone who scales off of ATK, since they grant significantly lower ATK than even the worst four-star options.

The same applies to most three-star weapon passives; they’re not as useful as higher rarity weapons.
