Advanced Pinning & Difficulty Sliders

Overcoming the pinning system in WWE 2K25 is one of the trickiest things to master when kicking out the signature and finishing moves. Thankfully, as with its predecessors, WWE 2K25 offers a wealth of options and features to adjust the difficulty of kicking out of finishers and customizing the timed minigames to have longer-lasting matches against the AI in WWE 2K25 and other players in local versus and co-op modes.

Mini-Game Settings In WWE 2K25

WWE 2K25 Mini-Game sliders

Player Settings

  • Recent Finisher Influence (Player): This setting determines how difficult it is to kick out of the first finisher. You should lower this setting if you’re struggling against the AI’s finishing moves. Recommended 20/100.
  • Previous Finisher Influence (Player): This determines the difficulty of kicking out of two finishing moves. Lower this setting to lower the difficulty. Recommended 25/100.
  • Previous Finisher Influence 3+ (Player): Kicking out is more challenging after three or more finishing moves. Lower this if you want to decrease the difficulty. Recommended 35/100.
  • Recent Signature Influence (Player): Lower this setting if you want a better chance of kicking out of signature moves. Recommended 20/100.
  • Previous Signature Influence (Player): Determines the difficulty of the mini-game after two signature moves. Lower this if you don’t want to get pinned after two signature moves. Recommended 25/100.
  • Previous Signature Influence 3+ (Player): The mini-game is more challenging after getting hit with three or more signature moves. Lower it for a better chance at kicking out. Recommended 30/100.

The signature and finisher influence settings will also affect local player-versus-player matches, so you potentially have even longer drawn-out matches.

AI Settings

  • Recent Finisher Influence (AI): If you don’t want a quick win against the computer-controlled opponent, lower it for longer matches. Recommended 30/100.
  • Previous Finisher Influence (AI): Lower the setting to increase the chance of the computer-controlled opponent escaping after two finishers. Recommended 40/100.
  • Previous Finisher Influence 3+ (AI): Lower the slider if you want to increase the chances of the AI kicking out after three finishers, or increase it if you want the opponent to stay down. Recommended 60/100.
  • Recent Signature Influence (AI): Lower this slider if you don’t want the AI opponent to struggle against the first signature move. Recommended 20/100.
  • Previous Signature Influence (AI): Lower this slider to give the AI a better chance of kicking out of a signature move. Or increase it if you want a better chance of scoring a pinfall.
  • Previous Signature Influence 3+ (AI): Lower if you want the AI to have a better chance of kicking out of three or more signature moves.

Timed Mini-Game Settings

  • Easy Pin Indicator Flag Speed: Lower this slider if you want to decrease the speed of the flag and avoid getting pinned early from regular grapple moves. Recommended 10-15/100.
  • Moderate Pin Indicator Flag Speed: Lower the slider so the flag speed favors the defender. Recommended 15-20/100.
  • Difficult Pin Indicator Flag Speed: Lower the slider if you want a better chance of kicking out after a signature or finishing move. Recommended 20-30/100.
  • Easy Pin Kickout Zone Size: Increase the zone area when kicking out of quick pin attempts. Recommended 80/100.
  • Moderate Pin Kickout Zone Size: Increase this slider to kick out after taking moderate damage. Recommended 70/100.
  • Difficult Pin Kickout Zone Size: Lower the slider to give yourself a better chance of kicking out after a signature and finishing moves, but decrease it to give yourself a challenge. Recommended 65/100.
  • Easy Pin Kickout Speed: Decrease this slider to reduce the speed at which the zone bounces from left to right with an easy pin attempt. Recommended 7/100.
  • Moderate Pin Kickout Zone Speed: Keep this setting low to reduce the zone’s speed after taking moderate damage. Recommended 10/100.
  • Difficult Pin Kickout Zone Speed: Keep the zone speed low but increase it slightly for a challenge when kicking out of signature and finisher moves. Recommended 10-20/100.

That’s everything required to make the pinning system less challenging and give your WWE superstar a fighting chance of kicking out of the unstoppable finishers of Roman Reigns.
