Summary
- A store has a discount on Xbox gift cards today.
- The discount only applies to the $100 cards, but you can now pick them up for $85 if you’re in the US.
- This will expire in about 12 hours at the time of writing.
Usually, you wouldn’t have much of a reason to want to pick up a gift card for anything other than a gift, but today, you might want to do just that. If you feel like treating yourself, there’s a store that is setting $100 Xbox gift cards for a reduced price of $85, giving you an extra $15 to play around with on the Xbox store.
As spotted by Polygon, the deal is available through Newegg. To activate the deal, you’ll need to input the discount code: SSEQAZ53. Once this is done, the $100 gift card should have its price cut by 15 percent, letting you pick yourself up some Xbox games, or a Game Pass subscription, at a reduced price.
This Xbox Gift Card Deal Is Great For Those Of You In The US
Just don’t bother if your account is set to another region
The deal is only available today, and expires in 12 hours, so you don’t have a ton of time to make the most of it. It is also limited to the US, so don’t go trying this if you have an account set up outside the region – you won’t be able to add the funds to your profile.

You can only do this with the $100 card too. While there are cards of other values listed, they are all at full price, so you’ll have to commit to the more expensive option if you want to use the deal.
Once the funds are added, you can pick up a game or two. Or as Polygon notes, you can pick up a few months of Game Pass. Subscriptions start at $9.99 a month, going up to $19.99 for Game Pass Ultimate.
