The Beast Pirates All Stars, Explained

The Beast Pirates in One Piece have been one of the longest-standing antagonists in the entire series, acting as the primary villains throughout the entire Wano Arc. Due to this, fans have had ample opportunity to learn about these characters, growing to either love the character and root for their future success or resent the character, praying for their satisfying downfall. However, for many, at the very least, the members of the Beast Pirates are some of the coolest designed villains in all of One Piece.

Standing at the top of the Beast Pirate crew, right under Kaido himself, are the All-Stars, three of Kaido’s strongest and most trustworthy crew members. Acting as the Senior Officers of Kaido’s crew, these characters have large amounts of authority over the rest of the crew. Whether they are fan-favorites like King, or absolutely despised, like Jack, these are the All-Stars of the Beast Pirates in One Piece.

The All-Stars Are The Senior Officers Of The Beast Pirates

These Characters Help Carry The Beast Pirate Crew

Among the Beast Pirate crew, the three All-Stars are the strongest fighters of the crew, hand-picked by Kaido himself. Due to the destructive nature of these fighters, they have come to be known as the Calamities, each representing their own natural disaster. Additionally, these characters seem to run portions of One Piece’s country of Wano and the Beast Pirate crew themselves, though, at the same time, they also leave Wano to lead important missions.

Jack The Drought Is The First Of The All-Stars

A Massive Mammoth With A Big Attitude

The first member of the All-Stars in One Piece, and arguably the weakest among them, is Jack the Drought. Named after the fact that his rampages often leave battlefields devoid of life, Jack possesses a bounty of 1,000,000,000 Berries and the Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit, Elephant-Elephant Fruit Model: Mammoth. Being a massive half-Fishman, Jack has consistently proven himself to be an incredibly powerful combatant, being shown to be able to duel the leaders of the Mink Tribe for multiple days, albeit in 1-on-1 scenarios. Additionally, Jack has been shown to be extremely short-tempered and incredibly violent. However, in the Wano Arc, Jack was eventually defeated in his rematch with Inuarashi.

Queen The Plague Is The Bombastic Scientist Of The All-Stars

A Genius Performer With A Large Personality

The next member of the All-Stars in One Piece’s Beast Pirates is Queen the Plague, an interesting figure with a larger-than-life personality. Named for his specialty in creating weaponized viruses and deadly diseases, Queen is a huge human cyborg with a bounty of 1,320,000,000 Berries, as well as the powerful Devil Fruit, Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Brachiosaurus. Queen, outside of being an intelligent scientist, is a natural performer, often acting as an entertainer and celebrity for the Beast Pirates. Throughout Wano, Queen demonstrates his mastery over diseases, releasing multiple toxins that give even a doctor as intelligent as Chopper a run for his money. By the end of the arc, however, Queen is defeated by Sanji in combat, during the Raid on Onigashima.

King The Conflagration Ties The All-Stars All Together

The Stern And Powerful First Commander Of Kaido’s Crew

Finally, the strongest member of the All-Stars of the Beast Pirates in One Piece is King the Conflagration. Sporting a name based on his natural ability to create fire, King is one of the last remaining Lunarians in One Piece, an ancient species that possesses pyrokinetic abilities. Additionally, King utilizes the powerful Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Pteranodon, and has a bounty of 1,390,000,000 Berries, putting him as the second highest of the crew, with only Kaido himself above him. Compared to his much more bombastic colleague, King is far more stern and calm, never engaging in the same tomfoolery as Queen. He is also fiercely loyal to Kaido in a similar way as Zoro is to Luffy, going as far as to believe that Kaido himself was Joy Boy at one point.

Though they may have been huge antagonists for the longest arc in One Piece, fans aren’t ready to say goodbye to the All-Stars of the Beast Pirates just yet. In fact, many are hoping that the All-Stars, specifically King, return to the story at some point during the Final Saga. Until then, fans will just have to wait to see how the All-Stars will fit into the ending of One Piece.
