Focus Entertainment has announced that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 3 has officially entered development and will once again come from Saber Interactive.
2024 was packed with great games and plenty of surprises, but perhaps one of the biggest was Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. While the first game was a big hit when it released and everyone spent years saying they’d like another sequel, it still came as a shock to see just how well Titus’ second game ended up doing.

Although many remaining Space Marine 2 players would say that the online multiplayer aspect of the game has lost some of its luster in recent times, the core adventure was still a big moment for the series that massively smashed expectations. Well, with that in mind, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that another game is now being put together.
Space Marine 3 Is Already In The Works
Over on its official website, Focus Entertainment shared a press release confirming that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 3 has officially entered development at Saber Interactive. The release confirms that the game will, unsurprisingly, be called Space Marine 3, and will seemingly feature the return of Titus, who is shown on a piece of art featuring the game’s logo.
The press release doesn’t reveal too much about the third game, but it does promise “an even more immersive experience” that stays true to the Warhammer universe with “intense, brutal, and spectacular gameplay”. That sounds about right. The game is clearly early in development considering the sequel just launched late last year, but more details are promised to come at a later date.

Saber Interactive’s CEO, Matthew Karch, noted that Space Marine 2 was a “transformative” game for the company, and that the team is now “starting to develop” the third entry. That being said, it was confirmed several times that Space Marine 2 will continue to get content updates, so it looks like there’s plenty of Space Marine goodness to come.
