Nue’s Exorcist follows a boy named Gakuro Yajima, who possesses the ability to see spirits. However, he is not fond of the power, after witnessing a spirit commit a gruesome act against one of his family members.

Following a confrontation with a violent spirit, Gakuro Yajime strikes a deal with a powerful entity who asks him to sign a contract. Ultimately, Gakuro Yajime ends up with the mission to exterminate all evil spirits.
