Darkseid Might Be A Bigger Threat Than Eggman
As first spotted by Video Games Chronicle, the first issue of the five-part series will launch next Wednesday (March 19), with variant covers being produced, as is typically the case with limited-run series.
A synopsis on AIPT reads as follows:
The action speeds up when the monstrous Darkseid crosses dimensions to invade the world of Sonic the Hedgehog, seeking the ultimate power. Sonic and his friends have faced everything from mad scientists to ancient spirits, but the forces of Apokolips may be too much for them! Thankfully, the full heroic might of the Justice League arrives to back them up!
Based on some leaked pages, it appears that Amy and Wonder Woman, Knuckles and Superman, Tails and Cyborg, Silver and Green Lantern, Shadow and Batman and Sonic and Flash will be the pairings. Either way, it’s a rather neat mish-mash between two franchises that, on the surface, don’t seem to have much in common. There’s no doubt it’ll lead to some neat crossover toys either, which might be the best part.
