While there are many Pokemon plushes in existence, Build-a-Bear Pokemon toys are set apart by their selection of wearable accessories and sound chip option. The same can be said for Wooper, which can be displayed plain, but can also wear included swimming goggles and a pink tube-shaped pool floatie with a Pokeball pattern on it. Wooper also comes with a 5-in-1 sound chip, allowing it to perform some of its cries. The bundle is available now for $62.50, which comes with all the aforementioned pieces.
Wooper Build-a-Bear Availability
Interested fans should be aware that only the Wooper bundle can be purchased online, and not individual parts of the bundle. Build-a-Bear limits the sale of Wooper to 5 per person, in an effort to help prevent supplies instantly selling out and being scalped. The bundle can be shipped, but buyers may also be able to arrange to pick it up at their local Build-a-Bear store. Fans interested in this option should check the website for availability. Interested fans should keep in mind that some Pokemon Build-a-Bears have been discontinued in the past, so Wooper may not be available forever.
Wooper’s basic evolutionary line hasn’t seen any massive changes over the years, but it hasn’t been totally neglected in recent times. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced Paldean Wooper, which maintains the Pokemon’s overall design, but changes up the gills on the side of the head, the marks on its body, and shifts its overall color scheme from blue to brown. Unfortunately, Paldean Wooper isn’t available from Build-a-Bear, but the designs are so similar that fans may still be happy with the original Wooper design.
