Boruto is always letting down this character especially.

At the same time, Konoha has developments of its own going on as Kawaki is currently on the path to get his offensive powers increased dramatically, and that most definitely is exciting. Fans expect major advancements in the fights, and most importantly, some new abilities being unleashed here as the battles move ahead toward their end.
Konohamaru’s Do or Die Situation In Boruto: TWo Blue Vortex Chapter 20
- Konohamaru Has Been Disappointing So Far
- A Near Death Situation Vs Matsuri Awaits
Fans know that Konohamaru Sarutobi is one of the main fighters in the Boruto series, even though he’s hardly received any characterization in the story so far. Largely speaking, Konohamaru has been a disappointment in the story so far, and even though some fans like to pretend that’s not the case, it’s truly a shame what the Boruto series has done to the character who everyone adored in Naruto. When the story first began, fans had very high expectations for this character, especially knowing that he wanted to be the Hokage after Naruto Uzumaki. However, so far, he’s shown nothing that indicates he’s anywhere close to being a Hokage. Konohamaru was disappointing in the first part of the story, and he even struggled against characters such as Ao, and for the rest of the battles, he was truly irrelevant.
Is this about Moegi Kazamatsuri? What Is she to you? Answer me, Konohamaru Sarutobi! — Matsuri
Now, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has given fans another look at Konohamaru, and this time around, fans hope things turn out differently. Boruto: TBV chapter 20 has our Konohamaru in a very dangerous position. After refusing to allow Matsuri to call him the name “Konohamaru Chan”, he’s invoked her wrath and it is clear that he is in peril. In the previous chapter, Matsuri is seen wrapping her wood-like appendages around Konohamaru, and she did so with quite some ferocity. Konohamaru is about to be absorbed by Matsuri, and he’s proven to be a failure yet again, at least so far. But, things don’t always have to be the same.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 20 could very well be the one that delivers exciting Konohamaru content to the fans that they very much deserve. Konohamaru could finally start fighting back, and he absolutely must, because otherwise, he’d go down as the worst character in the Boruto series by far, and the series itself would take a bit of criticism once again, which would be fully deserved. The expectations are that Konohamaru will break free from Matsuri’s ability and then power himself up. Fans hope that Konohamaru can show Sage Mode in Boruto: TBV chapter 20, or some other ability that he’s gained.
Sarada Uchiha Unleashes Her Mangekyo Sharingan
Sarada Uchiha Can Get Even Stronger
It goes without saying that Sarada Uchiha is at the center of attention in Boruto, especially in the ongoing fight against Ryu. Undoubtedly, he’s the central star there and all the other characters are just there to support her. Sarada’s performance has also been pretty bad in the Boruto series overall, although her treatment is nowhere near as abysmal as that of Konohamaru Sarutobi. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 20 needs to give Sarada her big moment in the battle. So far, Sarada has done well in the previous chapter, but the issue lies in stagnation.
There is nothing that Sarada has done so far in the battle against Ryu that she couldn’t do before the timeskip.

Boruto: The Next Step After Baryon Mode, Explained
Baryon Mode isn’t the final step for Naruto Uzumaki. His return will be major with a new power up.
Meanwhile, Mitsuki has a full-fledged sage mode in battle which he didn’t use properly before the timeskip, showing his growth, while both Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki have shown their fair share of development as well, at least in terms of strength. Strong as Sarada is, she needs more growth in the story and the fans demand this from her. That’s why Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 20 could be massive for her. It must be remembered that Araya’s sword is gone now, meaning the ninjas will be susceptible to Iron Sand now, once again. This is the perfect opportunity for Sarada to step up and show that she’s capable of being the savior.
Papa, please save Boruto! He’s going to die! — Sarada Uchiha
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 20 could give a glimpse of her Mangekyo Sharingan to the fans, which is exactly what everyone is waiting for. It has already been confirmed in the story that Sarada already has this power. However, she hasn’t used it so far. Hopefully, the battle against Ryu compels her to use this ability, especially since Ryu isn’t easy to take down at all. Fans can only hope this is where the author does justice to the character of Sarada Uchiha, and in that way, makes her stronger than ever before, as is expected of anyone wanting to be the Hokage of Konoha, especially after Naruto Uzumaki, the strongest shinobi in history.
Kawaki’s Changes Are Finally Completed
Kawaki Could Get A Big Boost In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 20
While major developments take place in the Land of Wind, fans know that Konoha is as busy as ever. The plot here is moving very fast as well, and previously, fans saw Kawaki finally pay a visit to Amado. Kawaki wants Amado to switch him from defense mode to offensive mode, and fans know that it is only a matter of time before Amado makes the changes for him. In return, Kawaki promised to put karma on his daughter, although he also promised that he’d kill her if she turns into an Otsutsuki. All this is set to happen after the battles against the Shinju, but for now, Kawaki’s transformation is important. Fans will most definitely see Kawaki become a monstrously powerful individual with no limits once he switches to attack mode. This major development could take place in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 20. What’s more, Boruto: TBV chapter 20 could also show the fans that Jura intends to pay a visit to Konoha’s bookstore once again, and this is where a battle between him and Kawaki could be set up by the author.
If the author intends to hype up Kawaki, then perhaps, he’ll have him come face to face with Mamushi, who could be used as a way to show how strong Kawaki has gotten after his new stat readjustment.
Boruto is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of Boruto, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 19, is set to be February 20, 2025.
