Mandragoras are used in a couple of high-value crafting recipes in Monster Hunter Wilds, and considering how hard enemies hurt in the later stages of the game, every hunter should have a nice stockpile of these reagents at the ready.
Getting large quantities of Mandragoras early is going to be tedious, but once players reach High Rank, this process basically becomes automated. Here’s a quick tip on how to get as many Mandragoras as possible in a short amount of time as well as decent places where you can get Mandragoras manually.

Best Mandragora Farm in MH Wilds
The absolute easiest and fastest way to get tons of Mandragora is to use the Material Retrieval mechanic. Once you complete Chapter 4, visit Plumpeach in the Wudwud Hideout and Apar in Suja, then complete the sidequests they give you. This will unlock them as material gatrherers, and they’ll passively collect stuff for you while you do other things.
Once you get Plumpeach and Apar start gathering, rest in your tent for a few seasons, then speak with Nata. Both Material Retrieval NPCs should have several dozen Mandragoras each, along with an assortment of other items from their respective locales.
Keep in mind that resting/passing time in your tent costs Guild Points. We recommend this method only if you have enough points to spare, or if you’re willing to grind Guild Points for a bit.
Alternative Mandragora Farm in MH Wilds
If you’d rather not spend your points on resting, or if you’re yet to unlock the Material Retrieval mechanic, you can always gather Mandragora the old-fashioned way. Mandragoras can be found in the following locations:
Players can track the locations of important resources like Fossilized Fire Opals, Mandragoras, and other gathering points on their map by using the Filters function. To find Mandragora locations on any map:
- Open your map.
- Press D-pad Left/Right.
- Select the Filters option.
- Select Mandragora from the list.
From there, you choose to either set a waypoint to a selected Mandragora node, or highlight every Mandragora on the map for quick navigation. If you set a waypoint, your Seikret will automatically go toward it when you mount up.
Mandragoras are used to craft Max Potions. Unlike Mega Potions, these instantly restore all of your health in one go, but players can carry only two at a time. They’re also used for crafting Immunizers, which boost your natural health regeneration.
