Persistent Buff Glow Removal

Clean, Stylish, and Glow-Free Armor

Whenever a buff is applied to the Hunter in Monster Hunter Wilds, whether through a potion or a skill, a glow appears on their armor that remains there for as long as the buff stays active. For players using permanently active skills, this means the glow is a permanent part of their look.

Almost invariably, however, this glow ruins the look of the armor, the ugly light show taking away from whichever cool layered armor they currently have equipped. Persistent Buff Glow Removal does away with this mechanic entirely.

The Auto Restock mod takes this one step further and gives players the ability to freely assign an Item Pouch loadout to certain weapons and armor.

With this active, whenever the Hunter leaves while they have a Great Sword equipped, only items related to this playstyle that have been pre-selected by them would be added to their Item Pouch, saving them the trouble of actually having to enter the tent and select the loadout manually. Auto Restock activates whenever a new quest is accepted.

Unlimited Character and Palico Edits

Character creation design codes allow Monster Hunter Wilds players to share their Hunter and Palico’s appearance with the entire community, giving the wider player base a chance to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

MH Wilds character creator has turned out to be surprisingly robust, and some incredible creations are being shared, however, one limiting aspect to it is that in order to use the design codes, players have to use Edit Vouchers. While the first ones are free, all subsequent ones can only be purchased as paid DLCs in packs of three. The Unlimited Character and Palico Edits mod removes that artificial limit entirely, giving PC players the ability to completely change their character’s appearance as many times as they want.

Wilds Rehydrated – ReShade

A Visual Upgrade for the Ultimate Hunt

Among the best mods to boost the visual quality of Monster Hunter Wilds on PC, or any other game for that matter, are ReShades. ReShades allow modders to add a post-processing effect layer on top of the existing game in order to completely change how it looks. From the color correction to the Depth of Field to the anti-aliasing, everything visual can be changed to a degree using ReShades.

The Wilds Rehydrated – ReShade removes the washed-out yellow tint of MH Wilds, replacing it with a saturated, colorful appearance that looks absolutely stunning, even in dark places. It can get a little too bright during peak daytime in the Plains, but that’s a small price to pay.

Disable Lens Distortion removes an in-game visual feature that would distort the camera lens around the edges of the image, forcing the image to appear unnatural in a way that is hard to pin down.
